I just had a questions for everyone. Does anyone knows how to get a discount on baby formula. So hard having another baby and we already have one child already in daycare. Can't stay home have to put our second in daycare, but formula is so expensive.
Any suggestions you may have they are welcome.

I am a new mom myself. I get coupons from my daughters formula company just call them or go to their internet site and sign up. You can also buy formula on craigslist and ebay from moms.

I agree with the previous poster. Go to your local health department and ask them to see if u qualify for the wic program. There u receive free formula. Also if u dont qualify then u can go to similac. Com and there they have coupons you may use!!!! When u buy the powder cans of formula for similac they come with coupns on the inside of the seal. There are several places u can register online and receive monthyl coupons on formula, diapers, etc such as huggies.com....good luck!!!!!

we used similac and they sent us coupons every month in the mail, i signed up online. I also got enfamil coupons, and I'm not sure why.

my cousin uses the target brand, and her baby is doing very well on it. If i were to do it again, I think I'd start on a generic.

We use the "little ones" brand with our 2nd born. Its available at Kmart and is $12.99 per large container (the major brands are $25 + for the same size). They literally have a match for whatever your child is on (soy/sensitive/etc) and I checked the labels vs Similac and it had EXACTLY the same incrediants and the same amounts of each ingrediant as well. I'll take 1/2 off on formula anyday of the week.

WIC is a good suggestion. Other than that I encourage you to just buy generic formula. I used it with my first and am still using it with my second and it is just fine. It is literally half the cost of the name brand and is the same. Even if you get coupons from all your friends and relatives, it's still cheaper to buy generic. I use Target brand b/c we have a target very close and go there often, but wherever you go will be fine, just stick with the same generic brand b/c they all differ just a bit and you don't want to constantly switch the baby's diet.

Go to the formula companies website and sign up and they will send you coupons. Also, sign up as many friends and family members so they can get coupons too.

do you have a costco membership? it is worth it for formula and diapers. i used the kirkland brand of formula with no problems and it's the same stuff as enfamil.

Try you local WIC program...you may qualify. I was skeptical on trying, I was a working mom with a 10 year old and I qualified for it and it was SUCH a blessing...I stop utilizing it once my daughter was old enough for "regular" milk which was at about 18 mos. If not use the store brand if you baby drink a non special formula...good luck and be blessed...
