My husband & I have decided we want to move up north w/in the next 5 years or so. We know what we need to do financially to make that happen, but we're not sure the best way to go about it. Any advice on a reliable, legit financial adviser??? Preferably in the Carrollton or North Dallas, (635 & Josey), area. What about the Dave Ramsey team??? Thanks!!
Ameriprise Financial will charge a flat fee .... I think about $500 (though sometimes there's a discount with Costco or American Express Platinum) and Chris gives very good advice and planning.

I recently transferred my retirement IRA, 401K rollover as well as most of my other financials to an advisor who has become a trusted friend. Young guy, very, very sharp, and I originally went with him because he charges me much, much less than the big guys.
