I've been a thrift store shopper for years, so I've found several wonderful things. And yes, I found a Coach bag too! It was $20. The catch was damaged, but I sent the bag to Coach and they fixed it free. I love that kind of shopping!
Mine was a pine nightstand to match my existing pine bedroom furniture.
For $20 (orig paid $99 for mine).
So excited.
Woo hoo.

You know how some mirrors make you look fat, and others don't? (all stores should ensure they have the latter in their change rooms). Well recently I bought a beautiful mirror from a thrift store. When my husband put it up, it was magic. It's the most slimming mirror I've ever looked into. For feeling great everyday when I leave (we put it near the front door), it was worth five times th $50 I paid for it!
The Target by me donates all their clearance stuff to our local Goodwill, tags still on it ;) NOW I can still boycott Target and get good stuff super cheap!
YAHOO!!!
Mine was a Coach purse - not a knock off - for $45 and it still had it's $300 price tag on it!!
I go every week on the day they put New stuff out! I've gotten many good things, a few: like new uggs for $10, Kenneth Cole boots for $.99, an antiqued dresser for $20, and many, many more!
I bought this gorgeous 8 drawer dark cherry dresser there for $60 (original it would've been $500-$700). It was an awesome find. I hit the thrift store up every now and then just to look.
I love going to thrift stores. I rarely get to go by myself, but if the kids are in a good mood I can spend a long time in one.
My all time favorite find is I have found some totally adorable vintage purses. I have about 3 now and I have never paid over $5 for one.
I also have a vintage skirt and button up blouse that is navy with white polka dots and I know I paid less than $5 for it as well.
Love love love thrift shopping = )
We found the most beautiful Pine daybed. $50. People come over and just fawn all over it. We are going to change it to a Lounge seat.. It is going to be gorgeous!
I also love the Wuestoff Knife I got for $1.00.
And yes a coach purse for $1.00. Perfect condition.
When I was still doing craft fairs I would go buy little girls denim jumpers and overalls for 10cents to 50cents, and embroider flowers on them. I sold each piece for $10-$12 depending on size and style. Made a lot of them and they sold like pancakes! Gramas couldnt resist them. Had to stop due to neck problems and the craft fair market has gone down hill, but gosh it was fun, and a great profit!
Also we bought a crib at a thrift store for our grand daughter and spending that $35 was the best deal. It was solid, sturdy and worked perfect for her for 2 1/2 years. I just resold it on Craigslist for $30.
I found an Art Deco Antique vanity for $60--love it.
a punch bowl set for like $5
Best find my $2 love seat. I found it about 8 years ago the springs and cushions are still way too comffy, the fabric needs to be replaced. But I totally love it.
Mine best find was not at a thrift store but at a garage sale 2 years ago. It was a large rubbermaid tub full of Disney princess dresses (like for halloween costumes). All name brand Disney store -there were 13 dresses, 6 pairs of shoes and several headbands or crowns. All that for $5. Yep $5. Crazy. I was so excited. My daughter still plays with them for dress up clothes and we have passed some of the smaller ones on to my niece. I love great deals.
One of those kid tough digital cameras, for like 3 bucks. I was really pissed when DH promptly stepped on it & busted the screen. Guess it wasn't as "kid proof" as we thought it would be.
Just last week I was looking for a bath towel and beach towel for my son to take to camp (in case it didn't make it back home, that would be ok). I found both for $1.50 each, and while I was looking at the towels I came across 4 Ralph Lauren, tan colored towels for $4 each! Perfect condition and matches our bathroom, so I got 4 towel for $16, and the original cost at Macy's is $19 a peice! Whoohoo me:)
I alway find cute clothes for my 4 kids at thrift stores too, name brand stuff. People always say "thats so cute, where did u get it?" I just smile and say I dont remember, or if its a friend I tell them the thrift store.
