For my husband I ordered a mouse pad with photos of the kids on it from snapfish.com. I wanted to get him something that he could have at work to show off his family.
Not too long ago someone asked for ideas for sentimental things to do for their husbands on Father's day. For the life of me I can't find that posting again and I have to admit, I'm not very good at picking presents for people. Help, I need ideas...and if at all possible relatively inexpensive ideas would be best.
Thank you,
S.

S.,
For Fathers day this year, I took my daughter to Earth Glaze and Fire ( a ceramic store ) I let my daughter paint an Ice Cream bowl for my husband. She is two and just loved it! I will go back there to make a plate of my daughters handprint for my grandmothers birthday.
I know your daughter is probably too young to paint but you could do a hand or foot print and then you write something to dad from your little girl.
The paint, time to paint, glaze and bowl total was $11.00
I hope you find the perfect gift for your man!
Hi there... I have a website that I put up things that I do with my kids... Here is a great Idea for you to do that is really cheap... just about 10 bucks or less if you have coupons for the craft store.

I also have done one that what white and said I walk all over my dad. This fathers day I am going to do another black shirt and it is going to have hands on it that says "the best dad, Hands Down" in monster green paint. I use acrylic paint.. the kind you use on canvas.... It says on through washes.. the only thing I would do is make sure to put paper or cardboard between the shirt so that it doesn't soak through. Good luck.. and check out the rest of the site for fun things to do with kidos!! :)
My girlfriend did this last year and it was so cute. You could go cheap and do it yourself or go pro. She either bought or made the letters D A D and had her daughter hold each one, one at a time while she took pictures of her. Then she bought a frame that held 3 pictures and put them together to spell Dad. Hope I made it clear enough, but I'm definitely going to try it for myself this year - too cute!
I made a crown & sceptor for the man so that he can feel like "KING" on father's day. Then let him sit around and be boss for the day.
Hi!
I found this idea on this site when I was looking for Mother's day ideas and filed it away for Father's day...
Dress your kids and you, or just your kids, in his favorite tie and snap some pics for his workplace. Or in his favorite ball cap and put it on a mug, etc... the cost is minimal and you could make it an annual picture. Kids always look cute in over sized items and it makes it very personal.
Hope that helps! Have fun whatever you choose.

I started to take pictures of my son wearing my husbands dress shirt and a tie when he was 6 months old...for this father's day, he was joined by his baby sister (my son is now 3.5)
You could get an inexpensive photo album and fill it with pictures of just your husband and daughter together. Get one with plenty of blank pages left over, and he can continue to fill it with "daddy/daughter" photos as she grows up. By the time she's graduated and ready to move out on her own, that album will be full of great memories. (You could make one for yourself with "mommy/daughter" pictures, too.)
Hi S.,
I lost my dad just before Christmas last year and this will be my first Father's Day without him. He was the most wonderful father anyone could ask for and we were truly blessed by him.
We would always have a handmade frame from his grandkids with their pictures in them. He loved to keep them on his desk to remind him how lucky he was to have his family near. Every year the family would get together for a BBQ in his honor and he just loved cooking for everyone. We bought him an apron and hat one year and he wore that every year after. Lots of photos to enjoy now! We just kept it simple and brought whatever family we could together for a simple day of laughs, good food and pictures. Make a memory for everyone!
I don't know what we're going to do this year, but hopefully our hearts will be able to deal with the sadness and celebrate a truly great man who left everyone feeling better for having known him.
S., just know that whatever you do will be appreciated and remembered with love. Enjoy your Father's Day.

Sorry I thought it would connect the link you will have to copy and paste it instead. This blog has inexpensive Christmas ideas, but the one I tried to link to you has one that could be used for fathers Day with your only cost being a frame. You just enter words that describe your husband and it puts them in different colors or fonts and print it off. I'm making one for a wedding present.
