I have a question if I have a manufacture coupon and a store coupon can I use it on the same package if it does not state anywhere you cant use both on one item? I have a 2 dollar off diaper coupon, and a store coupon for 2 bucks more!

What can I do next?

Totally depends on the store coupon policy. I know around here, Target is the ONLY place that allows this. Stores have even stopped doubling coupons. Sometimes, you can find the coupon policy online and print it out, at the store's website. If not, call and ask for a manager.

Depends on if the store will let you stack their coupon with the manufacturer's coupon. Give them a call and ask.

Depends on whether the store coupon is issued by the manufacturer or the store as a psudo-sale. If it is issued by the manufacturer for use only at that store then no but if it is a sale coupon then most likely but still up to the store.

Oh I am so not a couponer! If I still had a kid in diapers darn tootin I would be using them but I don't find the trouble worth the reward in general.

You actually need to know the store's policy, in the event it says they will accept both, and a checker refuses. This happened to me at a store I frequent a few days ago, so I asked to speak to a manager. When she came I told her what I wanted to do and she started to say I couldn't use them both so I pointed out their policy to her, she read and re-read it and instructed the checker to do the transaction with both.

This has happened several times with me at various stores, individuals try to make up their own policies or don't know them, and I have to say, policies change so YOU have to stay current on them as it's not the store's job to save us money. Know the ones that will accept both and those that don't.

It's fun to save $$$!

I know there is something about the numbers on the bar code of the coupon, Like if they both start with 500 or something then they are both actually manufactuers coupons and can't be used together.

Personally, I would nicely ask the cashier to scan both coupons to see if it is possible to use them both. Explain that you know you can stack a store coupon and a manufacters coupon, but not two manufacturers but you are confused because you can't tell if the store coupon is truly a store coupon. If you don't get a little old lady cashier, and there isnt' a line 8 miles long behind you they should be willing to attempt to scan it. The computers would stop them if they are both mannies and can't be used together.
