E., I saw your message, and wanted to respond..my son is 11 and he has been going to Dr. Ryan at Grin Central Station since Kindergarten. He is excellent, great with the kids AND parents and just a super nice guy. The office is great, very efficient all the dental hygienists, assistants are super. I highly recommend them, we have been very happy there. Let me know if I can answer anymore questions for you!

I took my 4 yr old a year ago when he fell & hurt his two
front teeth. He was fine, better than I imagined. I found out that your suppose 2 start taking them @ 2 years old. So I took my youngest son who was 2 & that was a bit painful.
However, I think it's all in the dentist & environment. We have a great one luckily. Remember stay excited. They even show them a video there.

I took my son to the dentist just after he turned three years old. It was a wonderful experience. My husband and I both see the same dentist and that, of course, is who we took our son to. In the office they have a special room for kiddos with child size chairs, etc.
My son went in smiling and came out smiling from ear to ear.

Good luck!

Hi, E.,

I recommend it. My oldest son is 10 with no cavities (and didn't go to the dentist until age 4 1/2), but my second and third children both had cavities at age 2--and now have crowns, believe it or not. Unfortunately, problems in toddlers are not uncommon. My pediatric dentist(Dr. Allen Pearson, Wylie) is the best. The kids actually ask to go because they get tattoos and toys and get to play GameBoy. The staff there are fantastic. The dentist also gives them a "report card" for their dental hygiene, and my kids respond to that.

I need a pediatric dentist, too. Where is Grin Central Station located? We live in N. Dallas near Richardson.

I have a dentist in Richardson who sees children and we really like him but they want to charge me $258 for x-rays and teeth cleaning on my 3 year old! I thought that was pricey. Unfortunately, we don't have dental insurance. Any ideas?
