I think I told my supervisor and boss sometime between 1-1/2 & 2 months. I told them first so that they would understand why I would be sick or tired etc.! haha I spoke to my supervisor in his office 1 on 1 about why I had recently been sick. He was only a couple years older than me, so it was easy to talk to him. I think I scared him about it hahaha (my pregnancy wasn't planned..) Then I told our boss that I needed to talk to him when he had time & told him 1 on 1 in his office.

We waited a while before sharing the news with the rest of the office just because I didn't want the other (older) ladies to go nuts over it! haha

I would think it depends on how close you are to everyone. If it is a smaller office and you guys are really close you might do something cute like make a shirt that says Baby on Board or something like that and see who notices and cathces on first. If it needs to be more professional I would think that you would need to tell your boss first and do it in an office not with everyone around. Good luck and CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!

I think you are at the safeway mark to announce the pregnancy if you'd like. I believe it's typically ok to announce after 3 months. I agree with the other comment, it really depends on the environment and office setting and how envolved you are with them. It is not something that you MUST announce right away. I don't believe that it is company policy for you to announce officially that you are pregnant unless you are performing a job that could jeopordize the pregancy and your job duties might need to be lightened. With all of those things taken into consideration, I'll let you be the judge. I guess to sum it up, whenever you feel comfortable and when the opportunity lends itself. Good luck to you and Congratulations!!!

It has been a while since I had to do that but in both cases I told both my boss and co-workers when I had reached the end of my first trimester. That gives you enough time to get used to the idea and that will still give them plenty of time to make adjustments for your times you will be out.

Congratulations!!!

Go into work and ask "Do I look different?" Give everyone a moment to look at you and think and then say "Im going to be a momma!". I did it and it was cute...I ask the "DO I look different" question all the time though...when I got engaged, married, pregnant, my eyebrows waxed hahaha! CONGRATS!
