I have quite a bit of blubber to burn off, at least 70 pounds. Some from having baby and was overweight before pregnant as well. Are there any good exercise videos or classes (cheap?) That anyone could suggest. I am able to do low carb (not the Atkins version, like fatty stuff and few veggies)...more like lots of raw veggies and cooked, eggs and lean pprotein. So the diet I am not asking about. I just need to know if there are any workout vids like Jillian Michaels or any others, Tae Bo, or Zumba, Walk Away the Pounds that I can do. Any success stories on these mentioned videos or others I did not mention would be great. It's just that there are so many out there that I'm so confused! Thank you very much ladies.

Lindsay Brin's Moms into Fitness DVDs are awesome. You don't need to be coordinated and they're designed specifically for moms. Done in less than 1/2 hour and you get a good workout. I love Bootcamp 2, in particular, because you can adjust the levels as you get better at it and create a custom workout.

If you have a game console, like the Wii, you can try a dance game, like Just Dance for the Wii. I tried it when visiting family and I was breaking a sweat after one song, and I am pretty fit. I also thought it was really fun!

If at all possible, breastfeed, breastfeed, breastfeed!!!! I dropped 70lbs breastfeeding, exercising, and walking my last baby. I never "exercised" a day in my life until after my second baby because I was always working with my second daughter I wasn't working and was determined to be healthy. I ate pretty much how you are but a lot of salads with "no fat" dressing and NO fry's, walked every day at least two miles nothing fancy just on smooth flat surface but always either pushing the stroller or carrying her in a harness, my daughter was born in the dead of winter and I was lucky we have an indoor walking track at a park near by. I also got my hands on an old "The Firm" exercise tape. There are new ones out now but the one I had was only like a 30 min work out with light weights and an exercise box that was adjustable, not to much cardio more toning I was never really an obese person but always was 5-10 lbs over my "ideal" weight according to the dr office charts but I am only 5 ft. But that really did the trick for me. I kept the weight off for about 2 years than got lazy now I'm heavier than when I was pregnant (a lot has happened in 7 years husband and mother in law past away a year apart) I try and tell myself that's not an excuse but...... any ways Good Luck to you!

Jillian Michaels is more advanced in my experience. There is a local person here who does videos for Prevention Magazine. her name is Chris Freytag. She has a website you can look up and it will take you to the Prevention site to order them. I absolutley love them and she offers low and high impact options. If I haven't worked out in a while I usually start with these and then move up to my Jillian Michaels video's. I think the "Drop it in 30" would be a great place to start. This in conjunction with a balanced diet and you will drop the weight in no time! Good luck and so awesome for you to get started on this!
