for about 2 weeks now, i am dealing with bone pain on my lower leg. there is the 'epicenter' and then the pain shoots up. the first night it happened, my husband took me to er because i was dying from pain. they did a sonogram to rule out blood clots and X-ray.
nothing showed up. he told me to go back to my hematologist to order MRI for the leg bone, which is scheduled for next wednesday. in the meantime blood work shower my fit d level is 10 (30 is normal). they said low fit d could cause pain though not sure that much.
wanted to see if you ladies know anything about what this could be?

What can I do next?

It may be shin splints. I had terrible terrible pain years ago and it turned out to be shin splints. They told me the best exercise to do for them was
sit (even in a chair is fine; you dont have to be on the floor) with leg out in front of you and bend your toes towards your nose, hold 10 seconds and repeat.

Stress fracture? If it is the ankle, see a podiatrist. If it's the leg, see an orthopedist. Feel better!

Definitely take some vitamin D3 to get your vitamin D up -- there are lots of places online where people talk about having bone pain and vitamin d deficiency. Try googling "vitamin d" "bone pain" if you have time.

Here are some places to read about taking vitamin D:

You might notice some vitamin d deficiency symptoms as you get your vitamin d back up -- that's not uncommon. A level of 10 is really low -- it will be good for your health to get it up. It might take a long time -- you can eventually take 8000-10,000 IU per day to help. Start slow to get used to it.

I have tendinitis and it sounds much like this. I was sitting in the doc's office and he watched my toes moving. He laughed, he just looked at me and said "You are having tendinitis, look. The tendons are pulling so tight your toes are being pulled up curly". I use heat and staying off my feet when it is really bad.
