yes. I did it. It wasn't easy to hide and they don't like you tying up the bathrooms - but they were understanding when I told them I needed privacy to do it.

Call the airlines and ask.
Also check out the TSA website....

You can create screen for yourself by safety pinning a receiving blanket to the back of your seat and the back of the seat in front of you. I did it for nursing on a plane.
I'm sure it's fine, but don't do it in the seat. Go to the restroom. Hooter hider or not, the pump is loud.
When electronics are allowed to be on, you should be allowed to. Just bring a hooter hider and a hands free bra if you have it. If you don't have a nursing top, get a Blush topless shirt for modesty, and try for a window seat.
Go to the airline that you are flying on's web site and look at the flight rules. If you don't see the answer you need, call them and ask. We can tell you what we think, but the best plan is to directly ask them what accommodation they will provide for your needs.
If it is battery operated, it would work fine. I would also recommend going to the bathroom. Noise seems SO much louder then what it is on a plane. I'm totally fine with breastfeeding and pumping when you need to, but I have to admit it could get annoying for the people around you. Again, I'm not saying anything negative about, but especially on long flights people are cranky.
If you mean electric as in battery powered, I don't see why not. If it's a plug in, I don't think that's possible.
I had the Medela pump and there is a battery piece to it. I pumped on a plane before and was really nervous about it. Turns out it was not a big deal. No one could hear it and I just used a hooter hider.
