A little teensy tiny smidge of wd 40 on an old sock. Spray it on the sock, not on the appliance - then buff.

My 4-year old decided to help me and "cleaned" the stainless steel fridge with the kitchen sponge well soaked in water and I guess leftover dish detergent.I've tried different things I found on-line beside my regular spray to make the fridge shiny again with no result so far.I used vinegar and Windex which only made it worse. Please if you have a cleaning product you used on your stainless steel appliances and it removes the water stains share your experience. Thanks in advance.

I agree with the others on "Bar Keepers" William Sonoma sold it to me when I bought my new pots and pans. This stuff is awesome!!! I had a planter sitting on my white kitchen tile for quite a while and when I moved it there was rust on the tile. Nothing would take it off, but bar keepers did and it's also great to take off burned food spots from over spills in the oven. One more..if you have a glass top stove, use a sponge with the rougher side down and this will make your stove top like new.
Thanks,
C.
I have owned a cleaning business for the last 6 years. We use Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish. You can get it just about anywhere but is cheapest at Wal-Mart. We like it above everything on the market. You spray on and buff off.
Just plain vinegar! I know it sounds too simple and cheap....but it works wonders! Good luck!
Hi I use olive oil on my stainless steel microwave. It seemed to take everything off and also kept it looking nice for a long time. I would just wipe with soft cloth and it was shiny again. I finally had to do the process over again a few days ago. Good Luck.
Bar Keepers Friend or Method Stainless Steel Polisher.
CLR or Lime Away- we owned a janitorial business for 7 years and this works wonders on drinking fountains, all stainless surfaces, even faucets and tub drains where lime and calcium deposits are.
Do not use an abrasive such as toothpaste or bar keepers powder.
Get Zebs stainless steel cleaner- You can get it at home depot and it works wonders! Just spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes!
A light spray of vinegar water should help.

have you tried a plain white paste toothpaste. I use the stainless steel cleaner from the store on all my stainless appliances
I use the Method Stainless Steel cleaner. I buy it at Target and it works great.
I use "Bar Keepers Friend" I get it from Elliot's Hardware, they have the liquid form that seems to work better. It cleans everything!
