I am having a hard time finding educational preschool software that will run on our Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.8) computer. We haven't been able to afford the software yet that allows us to run PC software and everything I am finding runs either on PC or the outdated versions of Macs. Do any of you have software suggestions that will run on our Mac OS X Leopard? It has to be preschool age... Thanks!

What can I do next?

We have a Dr. Seuss ABC game that plays fine on ours. It is really cute and can either read to them or they can just click the items and it does silly stuff. We also have a Nemo game and it does fine but sometimes during the video clip parts it acts up but we just restart the game and all is good again.

I've always had trouble finding programs that work on mine. We have a newer iMac now but I don't even try anymore so I don't know if they'd work better now or not. We had the program that allowed us to run PC on our Mac OS X Leopard but I thought it slowed our computer down too much (if I'm remembering correctly.) I'm sorry I wasn't any help. Good luck!!

if you have a Mac you should be able to down load Apps (like on an iPhone) through iTunes there are lots of educational apps available, otherwise I'd go to the Apple store and get some of the one they sell in the store. I haven't done this because my kids have enough electronic entertainment right now, but I think I'd go that route if I were you.
