Fruit??? or is there a way they can get breakfast at school?
I am in need of some good on the go breakfast for a three and half and a four and half year old for the school mornings. The four year old is the main one that needs the breakfast she can not have much cow's milk or any red dye 40 or 8. The three year old eats at school at 7:30. I end up making them a breakfast the night before and taking it with me to work so they can have it in the morning. They eat in the car usually!

Fresh or dried fruit, fruit leather, french toast/waffle sticks or pancakes--even mini ones; bagels, english muffins, toast--I top them with butter, cream cheese, or peanut butter. Go-Gurt or YoGo Bits are portable yogurts that would probably work. Cereal bars, granola bars, oatmeal bars. Breakfast sandwiches out of the freezer aisle, or you can make really easy ones with egg, Canadian bacon, a cheese slice, and a toasted english muffin.
How about Peanut butter plain or with some natural jam or fruit spread on whole wheat? It's good energy food. You can make health muffins/mini-muffins once a week and let them take them. Toast with a little jam and a piece of fruit is a good option also. Or hard boiled eggs. Hope this helps.
I give my kiddos a granola bar and a cheese stick nearly every morning! I figure it is about ezuivilent of a bowl of cereal. :) I know you said the older one cannot have cow's milk but thre are many cheese options out there. I hope this helps.
get a tortilla spread a little peanut butter on it sprinkle w/ a bit of cinnamon and sugar wrap it around a banana
of course if your children are allergic to any of those ingredients you can substitute for other ex. pb becomes cream cheese banana can be any fruit really
Make your own granola. Mix it with raisins or dried banana chips, or other dried fruit chunks.
Or make peanut butter granola (there are several recipes online).
A smoothie is my kids' favorite on the go breakfast - 1 banana, 4 frozen strawberries, and a scoop of protein powder.
Toast and peanut butter is another good one. Just bring a wipe.
Peanut butter and honey on a whole wheat tortilla wrapped up like a burrito.
To me, the best way to avoid food die is to avoid boxed things.

Hi there, I think the fastest thing is to make them sandwiches like you can mic cream cheese with carrots and green onions in a processor and spread it on white bread with cut cucumbers in the sandwiches, or some cheddar cheese pressed for a grilled cheese sandwich or you can put mozzarella with tomatoes and basil in a small baguette and also press it until the mozzarella melts...you can spread butter and jam on white bread sandwiches are endless and fast to do just prepaer the ingredients the night before and assemble the sandwiches the morning
E.,
We do smoothies quite a bit. I add some ice, frozen berries, banana, flax seed oil, wheat germ, some liquid (juice, water or milk), sometimes tofu or peanut butter for protein. Pour into a cup add a straw and go. My oldest who is 4 would eat oatmeal every morning while my 2.5 yo would eat a cheese stick every morning. I have made "healthy" cookies with grated carrot, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, raisins, pecans, apple sauce, etc. I also make mini muffins - buy a oatmeal boxed mix and add to it - wheat germ, dried fruit, coconut a little cinnamon.
Good luck!
Hi there. We go on a lot of trips and need breakfast in the car. These are some things i make the night before and just heat them in the morning on our way out the door. I make breakfast burritos with eggs, cheese, veggies on a flour tortilla. Sometimes i add a little salsa. Bagels with peanut butter and honey. Add a few slivered almonds for a nice crunch and added protein. Cream cheese and jelly is good too. Whole grain toast and some fruit like a banana that is easy to eat in on the go. If you have some plastic utensils and bowls, you could even have instant oatmeal in the car. Fruit smoothies are easy to make the night before and have them in the fridge ready to grab in the morning. I've made canned biscuits, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties the night before and assembled them into a breakfast sandwich in the morning. Well, these are just a few. I hope this helps!
