Hi L.;
When is the baby due or was she born already? I would say up to two weeks before Easter but I would try not to go too much earlier.
If you need birth announcements, please visit my website www.wordsandwishes.net or call me at ###-###-####. I am also in Naperville.

I think any time after St. Patrick's Day is fair game!

I agree with G.D. ... Ash Wednesday for sure.

Great idea! My baby girl was born in mid November so I did a combo Christmas card/birth announcement. I would say that any time after Ash Wednesday (March 9th) would be fine since that is the start of Lent. Most people would send an Easter card about three weeks before Easter, but since this is a birth announcement I think that you can send it earlier. Congrats on your baby girl!

I'm not sure if there is specific etiquette about this but I do know for Christmas some people start the day after Thanksgiving which can be a month or a little more before Christmas. I think it's such a cute idea I'd LOVE to have such an announcement displayed a little early and a little longer......
