Early Sign of Pregnancy??

So ladies, this may TMI but I have to ask....So my DH and I have been TTI for two months now and today I was checking out my breasts and squeezed my nipples and had some yellow discharge come out of both breasts. Now the only time I've had any kind of discharge come out is when I was prego with DS or nursing, and DS is 3 and I stopped breast feeding him at 1. Could this be an early sign of pregnancy? I took a HPT and it came back negative. I had my last period starting 8-22-10 so if I am pregnant I would have conceived in the last couple of days and I just have a hard time believing it would happen that fast. I guess I'm concerned if I'm not pregnant than what else could be wrong with me?? Any insight or thoughts/experience with this is greatly appreciated!!

What can I do next?

It has been a sign for me with my 3rd. Didn't have that happen on my first 2 pregnancies but this time, it was my first early sign. Same thing happened to my sister in law with her second. She had no idea she was pregnant and one morning she got out of the shower and there was some colostrum leaking a little from her breasts. Good luck! I hope this is it for you :-) !!!!!!!

No that is not an early sign of pregnancy. You don't start producing milk until much closer to delivery.

Since you are trying to conceive, you may have convinced your body to produce a discharge or you may have a hormonal imbalance causing an increase in prolactin. I would suggest you call your doctor and have them run a few blood tests to ensure everything is ok.

You know your body better than anyone ... dont disreguard any feeling or intuition you have. I am 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd right now and we got pregnant on the 1st try so it can happen quick :) I knew I was pregnant, I had the feeling and was having signs very early but all my HPT were saying negative. I waited a few more days and took another test and it was positive but faint. I called the doc and they wanted me to come have my HCG levels checked since I was cramping. Within 2 weeks I had my blood drawn 5 times and was constantly being told I was having a miscarriage. I went off the last time and they did a sono and sure enough there was a little heartbeat. I think a mother knows her body and can tell when something is different ! My breast are SOOOOOO huge and I am leaking ..... at 9 weeks seriously ?!?! lol Good Luck to you !

I have heard from several women that even after you stop breastfeeding sometimes years later you can still squeeze out a drop or two. I have never had this as a sign of pregnancy in any of my four, but it could be either, or just hormones, not really much to get worked up about. I would wait and take a test again if you miss your period. It would be too early for it to show up on a test right now with that date of last period, but in a week or two it should be a more accurate result. Best of luck to you!

I stopped breastfeeding my son two years ago, when he turned two. About fifty percent of the time I have a little discharge when I squeeze my nipples, and have not been pregnant any of those times. I figure that there are residual fluids from breastfeeding, and have not been at all alarmed by this.
