Dye from New Jeans Leaked to Other Clothes!

Hi. I'm hoping there's some miracle cure out there for getting the dye from new jeans out of some of my daughters clothes. I accidentally washed a couple of her things with my husbands new jeans. Does anyone know of a way to get the blue stains out? One of her little white shirts is tinted blue! :( Thanks!

What can I do next?

Color safe bleach. Poured directly on, rub it in or allow to sit for a few minutes, and toss in the machine and wash it out.

For future if you didn't know I'd you wash new jeans Alone in vinegar they hold their color and don't wash out as bad.

theres this stuff called "white out". Its for tshirts that are dingy. Its a liquid and I have seen it at Walmart over in hardware dept. where toilet cleaners and stuff are. (don't know why). I have also seen it at Lowes. My SIL swears by it. I have never used it. The bottle has a pic of a tshirt on it. Hope this helps.

Try what everyone else has suggested, and if those remedies don't work on the clothes, give this a try. It's a last-ditch stain removal method, and it either removes the stains or wrecks the clothes even more. So make sure you don't have anything to lose!

I don't have exact measurements, but I use some powdered dishwasher detergent and some powdered non-chlorine bleach in water as hot as I can get it. I let the clothing soak in it and then run the clothes through the cycle.

I used to specialize in pink. My husband's underwear would come out pink (or a nice light melon shade) because I had inadvertently stuck something of the kids' that I'd thought was colorfast - but wasn't - in the load. That's when I read about this little procedure. Often it saved me from dashing to the store after underwear!
