Hey, mamas. Have any of you used Dr. David Nichols? I had gotten fed up with Kid Care Pediatrics and switched my son to Dr. Nichols. His appt. is July 23rd for a well check. How do you feel about him and is there anything you don't like about the office?
We went and saw Dr. Nichols for my son's 15 mo well check. We really liked him.
My children have never seen Dr Nichols in his office but I had to deal with him by phone because he was the on-call Dr in my network when I had a sick child on the weekend. he was very helpful. He answered all my questions and even called back later that day to explain things in more detail. I love our pediatrician but if we had to switch I wouldn't hesitate using him.
I have not used Dr. Nichols yet, however, I asked my neighbor to investigate for me and find out who a good Pediatric doctor was around here. She works with kids all day, so she asked all of the mothers who they used, and she said all of them recommended Dr. Nichols, so I think you have probably made a good decision. I might change to him as well, since his office is much closer to our house than the one we currently go to. If I do change doctors, I will definetly use him :) Good luck!
If it's Dr. Nichols in Southlake, you will love him. My children attend Dr. Knapp's office with whom Dr. Nichols shares office space with. I've had several close friends that ALL adore him and his staff. :) I couldn't be happier with Dr. Knapp... and I have seen Dr. Nichols on occasion when Dr. Knapp wasn't in -- Dr. Nichols saw his sick patients that day... and i loved his bedside manner... Was just very thorough yet tenderhearted with the little ones. :)

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Nichols since she was 2 months old and we love him. The office staff is great and Dr. Nichols is really good about answering all of your questions and works really well with the kids. I love that when Lanie is sick I can call the office and they will call me back and they don't always say she needs to come in to the office!
