My son is 2.5 yrs and I am due in December with son #2!! Very excited and currenty researching the double strollers. We currently have the Bob Revolution and I LOVE it and am very tempted to get the doulie 12" one but they don't have any good double jogger stroller dealers in my area for me to actually look at them and will need to oder online. My only concern is will this fit in the trunk of Honda Accord? Any suggestions from moms who are in the same situation would be great! Am open to other stroller suggestions as well! Thank you!
SAHM to extremely active 2.5 yr old!

I got the Greco Quatro Double stroller. It fits in the trunk of my Honda Civic if you flipp it upside down and leave the wheels up. My kids are 2 years and 1 month apart and I got the stroller when it first came out (my youngest was 2 months old). I could use it with her carseat. I disagree with the woman who said to get a sit and ride one. My son is very active and would just take off in the store or would get very tired after a short time. With the Quattro, I strapped I'm in and off we went.

I have a 15 month old and an 8 week old; I have a Baby Jogger Citi Mini and I actually love it. It folds in half in one pull and is surprisingly compact. IT should definitely fit. The wheels are kind of a hybrid, i.e. better than little wheels but not jogger wheels, though if you want a double jogger they make the CityClassic, but it may not fit in your trunk. Good luck.

Are you only looking for a jogging stroller for the purpose of running? If not, and this is only my opinion, I would hold off on buying a double stroller, or would recommend one of the sit n stand stollers. At 2.5 and a very active little one I would suggest letting them walk and burn off some of their energy, hehe. My kids a year apart and at first I thought about doing a double stroller but my older little guy just had soo much energy and loved that he was allowed to walk and feel like a "big guy" so we went with the flow. At times when he was tired I would think I should have gotten the double, haha, but I would always keep an umbrella stroller in the car for just in case purposes and usually my husband was with me when my son would get that tired. Anyways, my suggestion was for only if you were not looking for a jogging stroller, so if you were, hehe, sorry for the suggestion.

Good luck.. and Congratulations!

I have the bob duallie revolution jogger and i love it!! I have twins that are 3 and they still love to sit and stroll when we're out. I have a larger car, a ford expedition, but my mom has a pontiac g-6 and is able to fit the stroller into her trunk, but she has to remove the front wheel, which is super simple. You should go on line and get the specific dimensions of the stroller folded and see what you can figure from that. It does fold fairly flat considering it's a double jogger - they are all somewhat cumbersome. The bob is the best though - it's been through so much w/ my twins and still keeps on rolling. i read that one answer suggested the combi twin - ugh i hated that crappy stroller, it literally would NOT turn and took more strength to turn than it does to lift my bob. even my double bob turns easily with one hand. I had the combi twin first, yes, it was small - but the performance was small too. good luck!

I loved my combi side by side....it was not hard to maneuver at all......it is so compact it folds in half.......if we were at a mall & wanted to eat dinner there, we could fold it up & slide it under our table.....my friends just went on a trip & asked to borrow it for how compact & light it is.

One thing about double strollers is they are really hard to maneuver. I had a sit and stand that always wanted to turn to one side and now i have a regular double that is just as hard to push around. i do imagine that a jogging stroller would be easier to push around than the two types i had. As for folding i say good luck fitting a double stroller in a small car. i had trouble fitting one in a mini van.

no experience with double joggers but my old 2001 side-by-side Maclaren folded up small enough to fit in the trunk of a 1997 Honda Civic

Fold it up and it should fit without a problem. The Accord has a good
sized trunk.
