Double Stroller - Lincoln,CA

I have the Graco Quatro. It is a bit heavy, but accesories are awesome both for when the baby is in the infant seat and for when they start sitting in the stroller by themselves. It has cup and snack holders for both seats, double cup holders for the adults, and a HUGE basket!!! We took it to Disneyland and it was just awesome.

the ONLY thing is that it is a bit heavy, but for the ride quality for the kids....it's great.

You may want to look at the Peg Perego Aria Double Stroller. It allows your toddler to ride in one seat and the infant seat snaps into the other side. One side is slightly wider than the other. I have triplets and bought this thinking I may go out with only two of them, but it never happens, so I always take my triple stroller. I actually was just thinking of putting the Aria on ebay....it's never been used. Take a look online and if your interested, I'll give you a good price.

I recommend a Bob double jogger, it is easy to use, fairly small for a double stroller and great to use for around the town as well as on jogs or walks. If you are in the area, Sportsbasement in Walnut Creek, Sunnyvale or San Francisco has them at a great price and they are already assembled.

My brother has a Phil and Ted and that seems to be great as well.

We love our BOB stroller, it's on the pricey side but well worth it. It's incredibly durable and easy to push, it also folds up nicely. It's also very narrow for a double stroller and you can fit a lot of weight on it. If you like to walk or run with a stroller this really is the best one.

There are several good quality double strollers out there. Valco,Baby Jogger,Phil&Ted's,Bumbleride.

Check out www.letsgostrolling.com, and look under double strollers. then make an appointment to try them out before purchasing. It is the way to go.

My kids are 17 months apart. I just bought a double jogger, and I love it! This one has the kids side by side--similar strollers are made by quite a few companies. Mine is a Dreamer Design--but they just went out of business & sold the last of their stock to Costco--who sold it for a very nice price. Which is how I got mine.

i have a phil&teds and love it. it is tandem (not side by side) and now that the kids are older, i have had no problems with the kids 'fighting' over who gets what seat. we lived overseas for a while & found that the tandem stroller was easier to get through doors, on sidewalks (and not take up the entire sidewalk) and over cobblestone streets and uneven terrain. it has a locking front wheel so you can jog with it if you'd like to.

in general, i'd go with a stroller with NICE wheels, especially with the weight of two kids on a stroller. you'd be amazed how combi and peg perego wheels get stuck with the smallest uneven sidewalks...

I have an Evenflow. It's worked out pretty well for my now 5 year old and 1 and 4 month old. It allowed the carseat to snap in. However, it is a little cumbersome. It doesn't fold very flat and it's heavy. The amount of time that you use the infant seat is not very long. You might consider getting a more streamlined model and chucking the infant seat snap in requirement. I wanted the infant seat to snap in too and I barely even used that feature.

My kids are 17 months apart and we bought the Kolkraft Contours double stroller. It is 219.99 and it does come with a car seat attachment so I have my daughter sit in the front and I put my son in the back (he has a graco car seat) it is a bit heavy but I have come to the conclusion that if I can pick up/put in/take out a child in a car seat then this is no problem :) It has ALOT of storage space at the bottom as well......

I just got a double stroller for a 2 year old and 2 week old and it is the most amazing stroller I have ever used. It is the Baby Jogger brand city Mini double stroller I have a Graco and a Maclaren single stroller and the double stroller is easier to push than both of the single strollers. I even tried the Peg Perego and it seemed clunky and flimsy compared to the baby jogger. The worker at USA baby even discouraged me from getting the Peg Perego because it is hard to fold up. The ratings (on Babies R US) for the baby jogger are 5 star and the only other stroller with 5 stars is the BOB jogging strollers. They are really nice also but they are huge and heavy. The baby jogger stoller easily folds up and is really lightweight and small compared to a lot of other strollers. It also has bigger wheels then most so it looks a lot sturdier. You can buy a car seat attachment and a bunch of other accessories for it. It also lays flat so my newborn can also ride in it without the carrier. I ordered it from Babies R US for $400 and it is worth every penny.

I love our Phil and Ted's Twin Buggy (it's a side-by-side, not a tandem stroller). It's a little expensive (try to find one used), but totally worth it. It's an all-terrain/jogging stroller, yet it's narrow enough to fit through doorways, is easy to push and turns on a dime. I believe you can get an attachment that will accomodate a carrier.

Depends on your needs, and your kids. Mine are 23 months apart, and the older one isn't too happy to be sitting in a stroller these days, so I got a Joovy Ultralight. It has been perfect for us - baby is secure (and can nap) while my 2yr old can pop on and off as we move through the zoo, etc. The back seat also has a belt if you need to secure the older kid. I also considered the Phil & Ted's tandem, but it was not worth the price for the amount we would have used it. I may have gone that route if we lived in a "walking" neighborhood, if I jogged and if I were a SAHM. :) I hear it's a great stroller... but I am very happy with the Joovy for our needs.

My only experience in this particular area is what I WISHED I had done the first time :O)

I bought a BIG double jogging stroller that folds easily when my kids were 6mos & 6yrs. I wished I had bought it when my older son was younger. It the best investment for me.

It works wonders for Disneyland, Fairs, or anything! I loved it because the kids could sleep comfortably in it, and it could even accomodate my older one at 10yrs old when he was too tired to walk at a theme park.

It doesn't have any carseats that snap into it, but I absolutely loved it and I still consider it the best "mom" purchase I ever made........next to my full-size van :O)

I totally agree with the advice that 'it depends on what you are after/how far apart your kids are' response. Its also really important to test drive the stroller, with the weight you plan to push RIDING IN the stroller to see if you can turn it!

I'm pregnant with my second now & will have 2 that are 3 years apart come this October. Features I wanted when shopping: the infant seat lock, lightweight, small enough to fit into my Camry trunk, big enough for my 3 year old not to outgrow it for the next few years, parents cup holder, kids snack tray, and good sized storage baskets that are easy to access. I got all but the last one (access is a bit of a pain) with the Baby Jogger City Mini Double. I found it new on Craigslist for $325 (normally $400) from a place in Oakland that let me test drive all the high-end strollers they had (Let's Go Strolling). I liked this one the best, it's lighter than my Graco single stroller!
