You can list on care.com. The caregivers there have a profile and you can choose someone near you. I used it to find tutors for my kid, and now I'm listed as a caregiver for babysitting, petsitting and miscellaneous gigs.

We have used MaryAnn Davis for the past 8 years for doggie daycare visits to our home while working and for our vacations. She too is bonded and worked as a vet tech. She is extremely flexible with schedules and visits and will cater to what you need. She has taken care of our 3 dogs for several 7 night vacations. She came over 4 visits per day with the last visit being around 9pm til 10:30 or so. I cannot say enough about her dependability and she was always available on such short notice. I now work 5 min. from home and don't need daycare but we will still use her for our vacations. MaryAnn ###-###-#### cell #. I don't but if you don't find anyone, there are dog sitters that will take your dogs to their home and love on them, play with them, let them sleep where you think they like to, etc. End of year might be tough to find someone to spend days at your house.

I use "Pets are Inn". They pick up your pets and take them to a "host family" who is screened to be safe and caring to pets. Reasonably priced too. I like them because a stranger isn't in my house but my dog is well cared for. They provide "cuddles not cages". call them ###-###-####, and ask for Donna...she's the owner and will take great care of you!

We have used Debi A (on mamapedia) All Critter Sitter out of McKinney.

Sheis very good, reliable. I don't know if she has someone to stay throughout the day. We had her come for a couple visits a day and then someone stay through the night.

We have used Pets R Inn for years and have loved them. The families our dog has stayed with have always been great. They do a good job screening and we have never been concerned about the family who watches our dog. Our dog always has a great time. They will send you updates on how your dogs are doing. They will send your dogs to the same family for all of your trips if that family is available.

I don't know about staying with your dogs throughout the day. I do know Guardian Pet Sitters has been around since the 90's and the owner, Sharon, has a great reputation. I know they do over nights, but not sure about a complete day. They are bonded and insured and do great work. They also cover your area. Their number is ###-###-####.
