If I can help you in anyway, please email me directly. I can make calls for you or help with cost of housing dog until you find the owner.
Thanks for being so kind!
Hi! I really don't like posting this because I don't want to give anyone false hope, but we found a dog today (Wednesday, March 25th) walking in the rain. I also don't want to give too much information because I want to be sure that it is returned to its rightful owner, so I hope you can understand my vagueness. The dog looked lost, like it was trying to figure out how to get home. It has a collar, but no tags and we found it in North Bedford. If you happened to lose your dog or if you know of someone who lost their dog today, please contact me immediately. We're going to see if it's microchipped and we'll call our local shelter. We've also put up some signs. Beyond that, I'm not sure what we'll do because we can't keep her, as we already have 3 dogs. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
Hi! GREAT NEWS! I was able to find the dog's mommy! She's thrilled to be getting her back. THANK YOU to everyone who responded and I wish you the VERY best if you're facing a lost dog situation or know someone who is. From the responses I received, it's clear that I'm not the only one who not only has human children, as well as furry children (again, three, in my case). It's uplifting to know first-hand that so many people consider their dogs members of the family! Thank you, again, for your responses! Have a terrific day!

You might try calling the city of Bedford. Owners will sometimes call the city to report a dog missing. Also you might try contacting some of the vets in your area. The vet might know the dog by description or the owner might have notified their vet that the dig is missing.
Good luck!

S., we were walking the other day on Harwood between Central and 121 and saw a pink cloth dog collar with a rabies tag on it. We hung it on the telephone pole at the intersection. It would have fit a mid to large sized dog. You might drive down Harwood and check the poles for the collar. It might go with the dog you found.
thank you for being kind enough to take the dog in. He is lucky he found you.

I have been missing and will continue searching for my Husky, he is mostly white w/black & has blue eyes, he has been missing since last July 2008, from Irving. I really think someone picked him up as he is so beautiful, I have been going crazy thinking "what happened to him" He and my other husky got out of the fence after the next door neighbor's dog dug a hole under our fence and both of my dogs decided to visit the neighbor dogs and the neighbor's gate was opened to let ours out of their backyard. We were able to find Kodie, but not Juno. I have pictures at home. Please let me know if it's a big husky.
OOPs I just noticed that you stated the dog was a she, so nevermind.
But if anyone out there reads my reply & knows anything about my dog, please let me know.
Hi S. - I live in that same area (Brown Trail / Cheek Sparger) and I know a lot of the dogs in my neighborhood. If you can call me with a description I might know who it is. I haven't heard of any little ones missing but I worked late last night. My work is ###-###-#### and cell is ###-###-####.
Hi, I live in Bedford, too, and work in Southlake. A couple of weeks ago a young woman stopped by our office and left a "lost dog" poster. I am not sure of the breed, but the dog is white and fluffy. I am not sure of sex of dog but think it is a medium size. Does this sound like the dog? I believe the poster is still up by my work. Don't know if this will help.

You might also want to go to the Veternarians in that area or call them. That is how we had found our lost dog.
Someone in my neighborhood has lost a white poodle mix. Please PM me if you think this may be the dog.I have a number. We live in Flower Mound, but these little guys have a way to make it pretty far.
Thanks for your good deed :-)
