I don't know what your background is in, but usuallly taking a technical course (such as medical coding, medical transcription) would make you more marketable to freelace yourself out and work soley on the computer at home. In the long run you would be happier finding a niche in field that you can help a service industry.
Or...Whenever i call technical support for a company (verizon, HP...) i can tell that they are talking from a home phone and just giving me information from a computer. I would start with a company that i am familiar with (large name). Good luck
