Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking of getting a Riccar vacuum and wonder if anyone here has one and what you think of it? I'm looking at the SupraLite commercial version. They are pricey, but if they are as good as they're claiming, I am willing to consider it. I will also do some online research, but I'd really like to hear from a real person who has one!
I'm not interested in any bagless vacs as we have serious allergies here, and I want the allergens to remain trapped in the HEPA bags.
Thanks so much for any information on this!

Thanks for the responses ladies! The reviews have almost all been positive as well. I don't want to have to buy another vac anytime soon, so I think I'm leaning in this direction. Thanks again for sharing!

I second the motion on the Rainbow System. The demo was amazing, and a friend of ours with severe allergies swears by it. If I could afford it I'd get it in a heartbeat.
Have you heard of Rainbow? It's certified by the Allergy and Asthma Foundation. It is very expensive, but if you get a prescription or something from the doctor for an air purifier you can write it off on your taxes. It is a vacuum, Air purifier, you can get attachments to make it a mop, etc. I'm not a dealer I've seen their demonstration and if I could convince my husband to spend the money I would have one unfortunately he won't. http://rainbowsystem.com/
I have worn out an Oreck, a Hoover, a Dyson, and now we have a Meile. Best Best vacuum ever!!! Got mine at the Sew and Vac in Long Beach near CSLB and they gave me a great deal. Also they will take your old vac and repair it and donate it to charity. I have not had a Riccar vacuum, but I do have a Riccar sewing machine and it has lasted forever.
I do! I love it. and I love that they are made in america
I have one. I don't know the model. We paid around $600 for it 5 years ago. I have not had any problems with it.
