That is so cool. I had never heard of one.
I cook all the time and would use it I think. The first thing that comes to mind is pancakes! I always put them in the oven on low to stay warm... but maybe a warming drawer would be amazing :)
I'm planning a kitchen remodel. I hear people either love their warming drawer or just use it for extra storage. So for those of you who really cook a lot (you know, five times a week you cook a main dish AND a side or two), do you use your warming drawer? Do you forget to turn it on "in time?" Is this a luxury you can't do without?
I think they are all about alike, but are there any features you love or hate about your particular appliance? Thanks for your thoughts.

ive never even heard of this but its a genius idea! i usually just use my oven at a low setting
Yes, if you are a cook you will use it!
There are times when you need to bake two separate things at very different temps, it's great to have the warmer to keep one thing warm while you bake the other.
It's also great when you're entertaining and during the holidays, especially if you only have one oven (as most of us do.)
I have also used it to keep dinner warm for a late working husband or late sports-practicing kid, it comes in very handy :)
My SIL uses hers ALL THE TIME! Usually around dinnertime, she doesn't have alot of time to cook...mostly b/c she gets home late after a full afternoon of running around from some sports practice to some other school event to whatever else she needs to take care of. So earlier in the afternoon, she'll make dinner, put it in the warming drawer, then later when she FINALLY gets home after her many hours of running her errands, she'll just come home to a dinner already prepared. SHE LOVES IT!
I use it when my husband grills the main course and the rest isn't ready yet.
Also, when he is grilling a large quantity for a group (guests)... and even after the first plates are served.
The last "summer pool party get together" we had, we grilled chicken wings, among other things. Probably 75 wings? Two metal trays of them anyway. I just put them in the warming drawer until we were ready to eat. They were Yummy, too. :)
I also use it for simple things, like say, egg rolls that are done when the rest is being stir-fried. Or bread/buns.
I don't use it daily, or even weekly, but when I DO use it, it is WONDERFUL. Could I do without it? I did, for years. But I wouldn't want to.
My particular appliance, I like the location of the control panel. Many stoves have the knobs and controls across the back, so that you have to reach over hot pots to access them. NOT fun if you are frying something. :( Mine are on the front. Yes, my kids can reach them, but that is a plus, since they are old enough to be learning (under supervision) to use the stove. :)
I really only use it when we have a crowd. Truthfully, I could live without it, but it's nice to have when you need it!
We did a kitchen remodel last year, and I now have a warming drawer (didn't have room for a double oven).
Let me just say - I LOVE IT! I use it almost every day. It's wonderful help in getting everything out together, warm. I also leave dishes in it for my sons/husband when they miss the meal time, etc.
It was really great last Christmas too . . .
Good luck and I hope you make the decisions that work best for you! It's tough to choose sometimes.
I haven't ever used mine, but keep thinking I should rearrange my storage so I can. I'm just not convinced it would save electricity, as it gets so hot even when I'm using the oven. I'm pretty sure I'd have to heat the oven in order to get a hot warming drawer.
