I have a 3 yo daughter & 18 mo son. I love my job as a flex pharmacist. They tell me the week before what open shifts they have and I pick what I want or say no thank you. Up until January I was full time I am so glad I finally was able to get us to a place where I could go part time. I totally agree being home with small children is the hardest job well ever face but it is so rewarding. I will say after I'm home a wk or so a 12 hr shift is a welcome break for me. I am do excited to have the freedom to take off whenever I want for holidays or activities with kiddos

Wait - did you post about having a 13 year old that hated you? and now you only have 2 kids?? What happened to the 13 year old?

Now. On to your question....

YES!! I love my jobs...

I'm a mom first! LOVE MY children!!! I have been blessed with 3 kids - one daughter and two boys. My daughter is grown and on her own...my boys are with me and their dad, my husband. My daughter lives near her dad...finished school and is doing what she loves...my boys are great kids!! They drive me insane (they are doing their job!!) and being a mom, as we all know, is a full time job! :)

I'm a recruiter (PC Talent Acquisition) and Staffing Manager. I love what I do!! I help people find the RIGHT career for them. I get to talk to new people every day...help people every day ....so yeppers! I LOVE MY JOB!!

I teach at a technical college part-time. Work 5 days per week but am done by noon. Sometimes I get a night class and work 2 nights per week from 6-10. I love my job and I love that I am done by noon but I could live without the night classes.

Yes I do. I have always been able to be at home with my daughter. While I did that, I acted as my husband's customer service rep because his employer was always in the NE or some other state. I managed his travel, etc.

Then, about 6 yrs ago, we started our own company in the same field. Daughter was old enough at the time and in school that I have been able to conduct my part of the job at home.

My daughter just graduated high school and I am thrilled at her opportunities in college and I am enjoying all the shopping for the dorm stuff and getting her ready for her next step.

So Yes, I love my job. I love being my own boss and not answering to anyone (with exception to the IRS when I am doing required reporting, etc)

Love being a SAHM. I have one, though, and he's six, and I have lived through the hard earlier years when I didn't love it as much and Kiddo was so demanding. We still have hard days from time to time, but are in a pretty golden season now and I'm going to enjoy every minute! I love both the routines we've established as well as the flexibility and that, unlike some jobs, I can have a cup of tea nearly any time I want, not have to wait for a break time. (Silly, I know, but I love a couple cuppas during the day!)

And remember, no one loves any job day in/day out. I'm sure Mother Teresa had days she might have wished she'd chosen a different path, too!

This summer, for the first time in 4 years of being a SAHM, I am REALLY loving it. I've embraced having 3 kids home with me (oldest being 6), and taking them all over the place, or just hanging out at home and in the back yard. Yes, it is still hard, and I still need to vent about the frustrations from time to time, but I am loving this summer. My oldest will be in 1st grade this fall, and my middle son starts pre-school, leaving just my 2 year old home with me (for 1 week, until our next boy will be born).

Sometimes I feel guilty telling my husband about the kind of day we had, when he's rarely able to spend any time outdoors, and puts on a shirt and tie 6 days a week.

I work in the hospital nursery & love it. My hours are intermittent which means I may work for a few hours or if we have no babies that day, I can go right back home. I don't work 5 days/week but work a couple of days then off for a couple of days. This schedule is awesome. I can take care of things at home, I work only in the mornings so I have the rest of the day to do what needs to be done.

By far, my job, now, has to be my most fave out of all the many jobs I've had for the past 20 or so years. I'm hoping to retire from there so I hope that I'll have the job for a long time. :)

Being a stay at home mom isn't pretty hard. It's extremely hard. Having to balance running a household while raising children to be great humans is very hard work.

I telecommute for a mega insurance company and I love it. My work is interesting and I have just enough contact with my team members to make it nice without being overwhelmed by office politics.

Yes, I love my job. I am the CEO and I love that. My organisation makes a huge difference to people's lives, and it mames me and my team happy. Unfortu.ately the industry is going through massive changes which somwhat destabilises the sector. I don't like the uncertainty about the future.

I love being a mom although it's the hardest job I have ever had. I love being there for my kids and having lots of quality time with them. I love taking them out in nature for hikes, camping, skiing, canoeing, etc. I work about 10 hours a week doing science writing and science educational outreach and I do love my job! It's interesting, fun, and very very flexible! I love that! The people I work with are great too. I also volunteer at our local environmental center and I love that work as well.
