Do You Hang Stocking for Yourselves at Christmas?

We have stockings. Why not? We also get presents - how is that different? I assume the kids think Santa brings kid toys and parents buy each other presents.

In my family, we have stockings for everyone. In my husband's family, one year they had for all. The next they only had for kids. Last year, I bought stockings for ALL of us. This coming year, they'll be filled for all. Last year, they were only filled for me and my husband ;) Kids only 6 months old.

In our home we all get stockings at Christmas.In our house Santa does bring adults presents. My husband fills my stocking and I fill his and we do the boys stockings together. It is fun for everyone to get something. Can't wait for the holidays.....

We all have stockings. =) Face it, there is a kid in ALL of us and who doesn't like to open stockings?? It is also a perfect size for little gifts from little fingers. Or big fingers that know your favorite treat.

We do stockings for everyone. Up till now we have not put anything in ours but this year I think we will have too because my son is much more aware.

Who says Santa doesn't bring adults presents? Way to bust the bubble! ha ha, just kidding! In both my husbands and my family we've always had stocking for the adults living in the house as well as for the kids. Stockings are how we begin our Christmas morning and it's nice for our kids to know that Santa has thought of all of us! I fill my husband's (shhhh don't tell him) and he fills mine. We also each get a present (usually a small something) from Santa. I'm not sure it really matters much either way but it's been a nice tradition for our family that I will continue with my kids.

We hang up stockings for ourselves. That way the whole family has one. Santa only fills our son's stocking and we fill each others. We also wrap the stocking stuffers, it just adds to the fun of X-mas morning. Nobody cares that they just opened a gift of chapstick. It's just one more thing to look forward to opening.

Growing up my parents had stockings as well as all the kids. When we were little it was so that we wouldn't question why Santa didn't bring anything to mommy and daddy. Now that I have children of my own, we all hang stockings as well. My husband and I decorated our own and the kids and when the kids get a little older we'll probably make new ones so they can decorate it how they would like.

We all have stockings in our house, of course we don't fill ours yet, but plan too in the future, when we can afford to.
