Do You Get "Phantom" Baby Movements?

Hello Mommas! My DD is 3 months old, and I have noticed that sometimes I will feel movements in my stomach that feel just like a baby! I can put my hand on my belly, and not feel anything on my hand while my belly feels the moving sensation... Is this crazy or normal?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

ha ha thanks ladies. I feel better. :) I KNOW Im not prego again I never actually thought I was...(Im BFing, on POPs and use condoms... triple protection lol. As much as I love my daughter, I am NOT having another oops baby!) and I know that at 3 mos it would be too early to feel even if I were... But it was kinda freaking me out... lol.

I had my baby 6 months ago and I feel those sometimes. It kinda scares me sometimes because I'm not on birth control. lol

I will get these on occasion and my littlest is 3 1/2. I remember them telling me that when a baby moves it feels like gas and I had never experienced "gas" like that must be an age thing??? But now those little gas bubbles happen and i just sit there and remember having them in there and how sweet it was.

Yes, I have gotten them after each of my 4 kids. My youngest is 8 months old and I'll still get the on occasion.

BTW...when my 3rd daughter was 9 months old, I was exclusively nursing, on Micronor and using condoms RELIGOUSLY and still became pregnant with my Son. Don't assume you are ever being too careful ;)

i still get them almost 2 years later....sometimes im like "could i be pregnant?"....then sometimes i remember im on my period, or husband is out of town and its not possible, and feel silly.

it can be anything from a flutter to a dropkick and scrape.

i read one time that even though someone loses a limb they still feel it.

I get these also. After my 1st (unplanned) C-section, I sometimes thought "they left one in there!" Crazy, I know - but it did feel JUST LIKE baby movements.

I get them too and my dd is 2. I think I got used to paying attention to it and I never noticed before I was pregnant.

Yes! My son is 4.5 months and I still get them. I got them with all of my kids. Strange, isn't it?

I have felt them off and on since the birth of my first child 4 years ago. I read online somewhere that it is a vitamin deficiency. I boosted my vitamin intake just to see and the "flutters" went away. Whenever I forget my vitamins for a couple of days, I feel the flutters again.

Perfectly normal! I have had them after both of my boys. I heard this second-hand from a friend, but she said her doctor told her that it was probably the movement of gas or even blood in the arteries you have down there and that because you've been pregnant and know what a baby feels like, that's what you relate it to. You probably had these feelings before you were pregnant, but you just didn't notice them.
