Just curious, do you fill out customer service surveys such as the ones you sometimes get on receipts which have a sweepstakes? You see them a lot with Staples Office Supply, Best Buy, Market Street, etc.
I have always thought it was a marketing ploy and to some degree it is, HOWEVER, I always fill out the survey for my favorite grocery store Market Street when I get one. Well guess what? I won the $500! I was shocked when the manager I know because I am there daily called me and said he had something for me at the store. I said, I was not there today and I am not missing anything. He said remember the survey you filled out, You just won $500!! I just got my picture made and 5 $100 gift cards! WOW!
FYI, it takes less than 5 minutes to do this survey and I never expected anything. Talk about a surprise!! I think I will continue to fill out customer satisfaction surveys!!

I do every Sonic receipt (It gives me a code for a free Rt. 44 drink next visit).
I do most others too (Home Depot, AutoZone, UPS Store) - to enter a Sweepstakes. Never one yet :( But one day ..... maybe? Being at home and having naptime still, I say it's worth my time to enter the sweeps.

I like the ones like at Caribou where you get a $1 coupon code for your next visit. I tend to fill those out more than others.
I occassionally take the time to fill them out, especially if I've had an experience that was very good or very bad.
