SO far I have tried Target Diapers, Babies R Us Diapers and Swaddlers. I hate hate hate Target diapers, does anyone have any opinion on Walmart Brand Diapers and Costco Brand Diapers. I would like to avoid buying major brands as they are expensive. Does any one else dislike Target Diapers?

What can I do next?

Hi Lisa

My husband and I use the Cosco brand "Kirkland" and we have had no problems with them at all. They hold up well,we took a road trip to Chicago and did not have to worry about the baby being soaking wet or blowing out the diaper. I also like the "Luvs" brand, they are thin but they hold everything in. I hope this helps:) Good Luck!

I can't stand Target diapers either! I was surprised because I use so many other Target brand items and like them. After trying all the same brands you did- including Costco- I went back to Huggies because they fit my daughter the best. I haven't tried the Walmart brand though because I don't really shop there, but, I have heard they are good. It's worth a shot.

Try Members Mark the Sam's Club brand. We didn't mind those to much.

Sam's Club Diapers are the best! Being a first time mommy, I tried all the expensive ones first..Then finally took my sister in laws advise and tried "Smiles", which was Sams Club's brand. I think they are called "Member's Mask" now or something like that.. My daughter is 3 1/2 now so I don't use them anymore, of course (: Good luck, hope they work for you. We loved them! Oh also, Yes.. I tried Target brand also.. Both diapers and wipes, HATED them both!

I like the walmart brand "White Cloud". I use this brand most of the time. I like them because they are absorbant and roomy. They do not leave the "red marks" that other more tight diapers do. He was able to move around without restriction and the other upside is that they are inexpensive.

Hi,
We've gone through a LOT of different kinds of diapers with our twin daughters, and found that quality within a brand (or off-brand) really varies between diaper sizes. I think it was around size two, possibly three that I began to hate hate Target diapers. HATE.
Then we went to the costco brand and had no trouble at all. If you like Huggies, they're actually less expensive at costco than the kirkland brand.
The only problem we had with the kirkland brand was when the girls first got into the new, larger size--the diapers were just too saggy in the butt. At that time we used the Huggies from Costco. The girls are back in the Kirkland diapers for the time being and everything seems to be going just fine.
We just switched back to them because the absorbant lining of the Huggies goes up pretty far in the back and the girls are getting wet clothes after wearing a diaper all night.
I just realized I know way too much about diapers. Good luck.

Walmart's brand (Parents Choice) totally sucks. My son leaked everytime with those (as well as Target's crappy diapers) and, well, every other non-brand named diaper. The ONLY off-brand that didn't leak for my son, is CVS brand. It was either CVS or Huggies/Pampers for me.

I've used the walmart brand parents choice on all 3 of my boys with no problems. The meijer brand dry babies are ok but don't seem to be quite as absorbant as the parents choice.

I thought that kroger brand diapers were fine. The white cloud diapers from walmart are also ok. kroger diapers go on sale for $6 a jumbo pack from time to time.

However if you watch sales... you can get good deals on the name brand diapers. This week (sale ends saturday 11/17) meijer has pampers jumbo packs on sale for 7.99 and if you have a coupon for $ 1 or $ 1.50 off then that is a good price on diapers.

I just bought 4packs of pampers at meijer this week (i have 2 kids in diapers)

I do buy the store brand some times.. but if i can get a sale with a coupon.. that is usually as cheap as the store brand and the diapers are better.

I have used Costco brand diapers since my son was born and have had no problems with them. The one thing I found was that you need to "fluff" them and make sure the side flaps are not stuck down. I use this brand during the day and the pampers at night...it has saved us tons! Hope this helps!
