So does anyone that lives in Milwaukee, WI have a great Dentist they take there children too. My son has been telling us a tooth hurts and I know I need to get it checked out but I also know how he is going to react. His whole life from brushing his gums to now his teeth and he's always had a horribe gag reflex and it extremly difficult to brush teeth. My son is going to flip out and I'm getting told by some people he may have to have a device that straps him down to chair? I have had that done when I was little because I was freaking out bad but I thought they weren't allowed to do that anymore. I can't stand the thought that he may have to have it done to him.

McGuinn & LaCourt, DDS is also wonderful - across from Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa. My kids have never gone anywhere else, and they actually look forward to going to the dentist. There's a game room and a toy box, and the staff is wonderful with kids - very focused on making it a place that kids want to come to. My kids have never even thought about being afraid of the dentist - they do a fabulous job. Great for adults too!

Yes! Dr. Stumpf with Childrens Hospital Dental clinic just off of Watertown Plank road in 'tosa. My son had to have an emergency tooth extraction...and follow up visits. Dr. Stumpf was more than patient/awesome with him.
My son and I go to Markenson & Dorf on Port Washington in Fox Point. He always enjoys it, our hygienist has a young child herself and Dr. Markenson is great with him too! You are in luck if your son is a Brewers fan as Dr. Dorf has tons of pictures and memrobelia that are a great distraction!
Yes! We have a wonderful dentist. It's Rollefson, Trochlell and Associates on Bluemound road in Brookfield. We started going there when my oldest was 3--he has autism, tons of sensory sensitivities and HATES having anyone in his mouth. I was terrified about how it would go. They only do pediatric dentistry and they're so good with the kids. They are all specially trained for working with kids and especially kids with special needs. They make going to the dentist fun (I wish I could go there!) and carefully explain things in a way that kids understand. All 3 of my kids go there now and they actually ask me when it will be their turn to go to the dentist! You can check out their website www.thefunkidsdentist.com
Good luck!
