I was looking for a mother's day out program, but I see that they don't do summer. I need a daycare that will :

1. Cater well to a 28 month old that has only ever been with her mom.
2. Be sensitive to her blankie obsession
3. Have plenty for her to do as she is VERY active!
4. Have a part-time rate, as she will only need to be there for 5 hours/2 days a week.
I am looking for a liscenced center, not an in-home please.
Thanks so much in advance!

What can I do next?

Children's University is awesome. Both of my children have gone there since they were 2 - my daughter still takes her blankie...and she's 4! You can go 2, 3, or 5 days a week. You should at least visit their campus. It's amazing. They have a nature school with live animals, computer room, spanish class, library, and so much more.

My son and his cousin go to The Children's Courtyard on Pleasant Ridge across from Martin High School. I know they have part-time care. We have been very happy with them. My son has learned SOOOO much there. I love the teachers that would be your daughters'. Good luck with your search!!

I highly recommend First Presbyterian Preschool. It is an incredibly LOVING environment. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They've been part of the community for almost 40 years.
My 2 (now just turned 4 and 2) each started there at about 12 months and I could not be happier. They are doing open enrollment now.

Note: You do not have to be Presbyterian to attend. ;o) Children do attend chapel once a week.
