We LOVE Utah Dance on 1300 East and about 9200 south.
Small, low pressure, nice teachers and they do a beautiful recital at the end of the year.
We just moved to the area and I have a 5 year old daughter who would love to take dance lessons. Does anyone recommend a good place to go? I would prefer something small.

I teach Ballet if that's what she's interested in. It's not a professional studio though. It's just in my parent's basement. I was asked by a neighbor to teach her young daughter ballet a few years back and then others wanted me to teach their daughters too. So we made a studio in the basement and I started teaching about 6 years ago. (I took ballet for 13 years). Anyway, if you're interested it's only $35/month and it's on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:00. Email me at ____@____.com for location and other info.
We go to dance concepts just off of 90th south and State. Right behind the Ford building. My 5 yr old loves it.
Hi there C., I have a 5 year old in dance. She takes it through Murray Community Education (MCE). The classes are held at Murray High School. I also have 2 other daughters, 17 & 12 who have taken dance there the past 7 years. Tuition is $75.00 (Sept.-Dec.) The kids perform a Christmas show and another show in May. My girls love it!!! Good luck!!!
I have a friend that has a studio in her home. She's great. Her name is Aubray ph # ###-###-####. The fee is $28 a month I think. She teaches tap, jazz and ballet.
My 3 year old takes dance at Canyon View Arts Center in Riverton. Her teacher is wonderful. It is a small studio with no competition teams - which I love.
We use Wasatch Art Center on Redwood Road and about 12400 South. My 4 year old loves her class!
