My daughter took dance (ballet/tap/jazz) at the YMCA on Cypresswood. It was very reasonably priced and it was not so intense that the kids could not have fun. We found that the other dance studios in the area were much more intense and cost an arm and a leg for recital costumes, etc. If you just want your daughter to have fun and learn the basics, then the YMCA is a great place to start!

My niece goes to some place like Mrs Caroyn's school of dance. I'm not for sure of the exact name. It is down the street form the MET church which is on Jones road at Mills it is off of Jones but I'm un sure of the name of that road it is on. I will find out from my sister and let you know. I know she chose there because she checked prices and it was the cheapest.
