I am looking to buy fresh milk from a dairy farm around the north dallas area. Does anyone know of any farms around there?? I live in frisco and would not mind traveling for 20-25mins. My husband works in southlake and wouldn't mind if its around there too.

What can I do next?

Yes, Lucky Layla is the place to go. If you happen to be in the historic downtown of McKinney you can find their products at Patina Green Home Market on Tennessee on the Square - I wrote about the store (very unique) on my facebook page 365 Things To Do Around McKinney TX

You're in luck! Lucky Layla Farms is on Jupiter, Just North of Parker. They sell the best fresh, raw milk I've ever tasted! My son drinks a gallon of it a week. They are open M-Sat from 9-6pm. Go to www.luckylayla.com for directions and more about the farm. They also have cheeses, yogurt, butter, and eggs.
I never allowed commercial milk in our house--just so processed, its literally a "non-food". All the good stuff has been killed. Those with a lactose intolerance can easily enjoy this milk, because the enzyme, lactase, (that's naturally found in raw milk), hasn't been destroyed by the pasteurization process.
Just in case, for others that are reading this, raw milk is more tested and contains less bacteria than commercial milk. Because of its good bacterial content, it doesn't go sour like commercial milk. And, it provides your gut with all the wonderful flora that can keep you healthy like yogurt. Also, the fat that it contains is good fat that your body and brains need, especially children that are growing.

I was also going to suggest Lucky Layla. They even sell some of their stuff at Sprouts and Whole Foods.
