Daffodil Help

I was going through some stuff in the garage this weekend, and ran across a package of daffodil bulbs, still in the net packaging. However, several of them have sprouted, with 2 or 3 inches of greenery growing.

I'm the first to admit that I'm not a very good gardner. Should I plant these, or not?

Any help or advise is appreciated!

Edited to add: Where I live, the rest of the daffodils that are planted in the ground are already up and blooming.

What can I do next?

Yes, definitely plant them now. They may very well bloom this year (bonus!) but if they don't they definitely will next year.

Yup! Get them in the ground! My neighbor's daffodils are coming up nicely. Next year you'll be happy you did.

Yes, you can still plant them. They may not bloom this year (they have minimum chill requirements), but if they haven't rotted, they will probably grow.

My sister gave me some daffodil bulbs several years ago in February. I planted them, not expecting much. But they grew and bloomed late that spring, almost two months after all my other daffodils were done. And they've bloomed on their normal schedule every year since.

You certainly can plant them!

Normally bulbs may take a year "in the ground" before they fully bloom, so I say take advantage of the reminder now and next spring they will all bloom much bigger!

Remember: Fall is for planting!

BUT since they've sprouted, I'd stick them in the ground. Good luck!
