I always took some room temp bottled water, in a pinch you can use it to make bottles. I would also recommend a sheet for the crib at the location you will be at, if you aren't taking a pack and play.
My husband & I are taking our first official trip with the baby. I'm not too sure what to take, what not to take. She's still on formula so I assume powdered milk is the way to go. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

I have traveled so much with my now 2 year old. He went on his first plane ride at 9 months. Usually they are going to sleep the whole way anyway. It really depends on where you are going and how you are getting there. A plane then I would take diapers, formula, wipes, some burp clothes, blanket, and a small toy. In the caris about the same and take some small snacks. Don't over do it but it's better to be safe than sorry. I took everything with me the first time we went anywhere and shortly found out that it just gets in the way.
I would suggest that you bring the formula that is already prepared, so you can just pour from the can. The room will have a small fridge. I would be cautious about using the water on the ship. Any bring a bag of toys, some that she has not seen in a while or that are new to keep her attention.
have fun!
Hello A., When I went on a trip to Europe when my daughter was 6 months, i took a couple of diapers and a pack of wipes. You can always buy diapers at the vacation destination. I also brought powdered milk. You can find warm water everywhere you go and that way you don't have to worry about keeping the milk cool. I also brought some toys and favo books to keep my daughter entertained. Bring two sets of extra clothes just in case something happens. I don't know if you intend to fly but an extra shirts for yourself will come in handy. I forgot and before we were even in the plane I already stained the shirt I was wearing.
I hope this info will help. Thanks K.,

Have fun, thats the first thing I want to tell you. My husband and I went on a cruise last July and took our 11 month old daughter. Take powdered formula and if I am remembering correctly they will allow you to take a case of water if it is unopened. Just tell them its for the formula unless you don't mind using the water from the ship. The provide a baby bed for her unless she sleeps with you. Just take a stoller and clothes you would pack for a beach trip. Have nicer clothes for dinner as that is when we wouldn't wear shorts and tanks. Just have fun and hope that helped.
We just went on a cruise w/ our 7 month old and our 5 year old. Unfortunately you have to bring alot. You are limited to what you can buy on the ship so you have to bring all med's you would need for fever, throwing up, teething, etc.. I would definitely recommend powdered formula, we brought premade stuff and had to worry about warming the bottles and it was a pain in the butt. Also plenty diapers, wipes and extra clothes. They do sell diapers and wipes if you run out. They have cribs on board too, we brought our pack-n-play, next time we'll use their crib but bring yuor own sheets , we had to carry that heavy thing back to the car! Also a stroller, favorite toys, lots of sunscreen and a few nice outfits for dinner. Definitely a light weight sweater it can get a little breezy at night on the water. Good luck and have fun!
I had a first trip with my son while he was on formula. A mobile bottle warmer for sure. Toys, toys & more toys. Music and sesame street....LOL!!
I guess what I am saying is things to keep the baby occuppied if he/she is over the sleep all day stage. My son was pretty quiet considering it was a 19hour drive and he was in his car seat most of the time. Also, be sure to let the baby out when you get out. I massaged my son during our stops because of the length of time sitting, I didn't want the circulation affected.
