I'm a first time Mom and I've chosen to stay at home with my son. I've looked into taking Infant CPR classes but they are all ridiculously expensive. Does anybody know somewhere I can go to get trained that is either free or less than $50?

What can I do next?

I took infant CPR at the Delaware county Red Cross and from what I remember it was only $25. That was a couple years ago though.

Just today I received a "book" from Mt. Carmel hospital, and they offer Infant CPR for $25. Their website address is www.mountcarmelhealth.com, and their phone number is ###-###-####.

My husband and I took an Infant CPR course through Children's Hospital about 2 years ago, but I don't recall the cost.

Good luck!

Hi A.,
I took an infant/child CPR class at Riverside Hospital and it was $50. It was a Saturday morning and very informative, plus you get to practice techniques for CPR and choking on both an infant and child (dolls of course). You can go on the Riverside website and sign up there. You don't have to be a patient of Riverside to participate. Good luck!

Try calling the Ohio State University Extension Office for your county. They offer many of those types of classes for free.
