Hi!
I am trying to cut down my grocery bill. Do any of you have any good websites where you get coupons? All the ones that came up tonight had nothing good. If you know of any other money saving plans let me know.
Thank you!!

bettycrocker.com has lots of coupons, also there is a pssst.com, where they actually mail you new grocery products to try. They send them in the mail with coupons to pass out to anyone you know. All you have to do is let them know what you though of the product...

I use Refundcents.com to find wonderful deals. They have a hard copy magazine, but you can just pay for internet access if that's what you want. You'll be amazed at the "deal divas" of "coupon queens"that can get a lot of goods for next to nothing. They put together the Walgreens deals, make you aware of grocery store promotions, Target and Walmart deals etc. You can ask questions and get prompt answers from other couponers across the nation. They spell out the steps on how to save the most money. I love it!

I do not know if you shop at Target but Target.com has some coupons on their website.
Couponmom.com I think is another good one.
Sometimes even walmart.com has coupons and they have free samples of stuff too.
But to be very honest with you just buying the generic stuff I have saved alot of money.. They taste just as good and instead of paying a dollar for DelMonte Veggies.. I pay 44 cents..for the Generic.

We use the Grocery Game (www.grocerygame.com), and we LOVE it! We have gotten tons of stuff for free or nearly free (under $1). It is super easy to use and there are forums for getting advice and more coupon-using/money-saving ideas. If you sign up, would you please use put our e-mail address in the referred by section? You can contact me for it. Thanks! (You can get free weeks when you refer people, too.) If you do sign up, be sure to get at least 2 weeks' Sunday paper coupons before you begin. You'll need a small supply of coupons before you can actually use them.

We also use www.taylortownpreview.com, which often lists the store ads 2-3 weeks ahead. You can also use the "Find" feature on your toolbar and search for brand names and what ad they are in.

We sign up on the Kroger site to use their coupons, which you add to your Kroger card and just use the card at the store to redeem them. There is another site that clips coupons for you, and you request them (pay for the clipping, though, since you can't legally buy coupons.) I think they are called the CouponLadies.com. You can order as many as you need, I believe, and they mail them to you. My friend uses this in conjunction with the Taylor Town Preview and the Grocery Game, and she gets tons more stuff free than we do. This way, you can order them a week or more, in advance, and have plenty for your shopping.

Best wishes! It is SO addicting when you get stuff free or almost free. lol Although, my husband feels guilty sometimes, when we are walking out of the store with $80 worth of stuff for $7 or less. Have fun!

I clip coupons and also save any that I get in the mail- then I organize them in my handy little coupon organizer, customized for me at www.couponthego.blogspot.com and I always have them with me- my problem before was I would clip them, but never had them on me- this organizer fits in my purse (or diaper bag) so I always have it on me... Now I clip, exchange coupons with 2 other friends after I have clipped, clip the remainder of their coupons they did not use and then when I go to the store I get more products for the savings... CVS and Walgreen are great too bc you can stack your coupons with thiers and you wind up getting some things for FREE!!! The best thing is now I am organized and I match my coupons with the sales, put them to the front of my organizer and go shopping to SAVE!! Good luck!

thegrocerygame.com works well for me. I only use the sunday paper. the grocery game tells you where the sales are, then tells you which coupon you should have and what the rock bottom price is. I only purchase things that are 50% off or more. I always get tons of free stuff. Things like excedrin, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hand soap. Do you know how to use CVS extra care bucks? The idea behind the grocery game is to buy it while it is dirt cheap (even if you do not immediatly need it) and store it because you will eventually use it. Can goods, frozen goods, paper, plastic....
I do not normally like the idea of stock piling but when your getting things soo soo cheap or free it only makes since.
feel free to email me if you want more info.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but go to www.hotcouponworld.com and look in their online coupon database. You can find search for items you want to buy to see if anyone has gotten a coupon for it. It lists the source, like newspaper inserts, mailers, magazines, website, etc.

Maybe I missed it in the other post, but also check the grocery stores to see if the double, or triple coupons. I thought I saw at Kroger that on certain days, or up to a certain amount of the coupon the double it. Although sometimes you have to get the name brand item, most of the time the generic is just as good. Be careful going to Sam's Club or Costco, while some of their items will be cheaper if you buy in bulk, often times if you watch the sale ads you can get things cheaper in the stores.

I do the Grocery Game and I love it! Just get the Sunday paper, they have the best coupons compared to ones online. Also, sometimes during the week check your junkmail, companies will put good coupons in them. I don't clip coupons for the grocery game until I need them. I just keep the coupon flyers in a folder with the date on the front of when it came out, and then get my grocery list and clip them. It saves a lot of time clipping coupons and I save a LOT on my grocery bill every month!

I never use a coupon unless I really need or use the item and it's on sale...that way you get the most bang for your buck. Also...utilize sales and if they are out of something don't forget to get rain checks. I got one @ Albertson's for Bush's Black beans (we love em) and when they restock with fresh beans, I can Buy 1 Get 1 Free--no limit...you can bet I will stock up on that staple!

try calling the companies. if you rave about their products they are more than likely to send you a coupon(s), samples, etc. You can even ask and they are more than willing! Sometimes they have mailing lists and if you sign up, they will constantly send you coupons from time to time. It sure has helped us with cutting formula and diaper costs! Enfamil will even send you a sample... which also helps! Sometimes pampers will send you samples too, even if it is a few wipes, one pamper... anything helps! Beechnut sends coupons too, so you can save on baby food as well! Hope this helps!

I am not a coupon clipper or gamer. My purpose for adding my 2 cents here is.....

Keep in mind how much time you are spending on all the games, coupons, etc. For me......TIME = MONEY

I shop regularly at Market Street, Tom Thumb and Target. I check the weekly ad and go from there. I am not one to drive all over the place to save a $ because I am wasting gas and wear/tear on my car. My 3 stops are all very close to each other and on my way home.

You can find very reasonable deals at all of these places. If you are not close to my personal favorites....there are places closest to you where you can do the same thing as far as comparing the ads.

Good luck!

This lady is amazing. She saves 40-60 percent on her groceries! She was on Oprah a few weeks ago.
Her site lists others for printable coupons. She also has a page where you can enter in your location, & she'll list the stores in your area, what their sales are and if a coupon is available on that item....

check out couponmom.com. It is similar to thegrocerygame.com, but it is free to use.

They have links to websites you can print coupons off of, and also a database that you can search that has cataloged all of the coupons in the Sunday newspapers. That way, you simply save the booklets of coupons (redplum, smartsource) from the Sunday paper, and when you need a coupon, you search their database, it will tell you what date that coupon was distributed, and you go right to it and clip it then. It takes way too much time to clip all those coupons every week. This makes it very easy!

You can get better directions from the couponmom website - it might make more sense!

Look at grocerygame.com. You have to pay a fee but it is a little over a dollar a week. You can do a trial month for $1. For the trial sign up for all the stores so you can compare them and decide which ones are best for you and your needs. The site tells you how and when to use coupons to get the best deals. Several of us at church have been doing this and everyone talks of the money they save.

As well as coupons, I have found that price matching works great! I look at all store adds on Sunday and Wednesdays and if you will shop at Wal-Mart they will match prices. I usually circle all the items that I intend to buy as well as make a list so I don't forget an item. By making a list you will know which ad to show the checker. It also helps to put all the price matched items together when checking out. If the lines are not long I will put a divider between the regular items and the price matched items. It can really save a lot of money as well as gas since you are going to only ONE store. Good Luck!

I just get the Sunday paper and go thru to see what they have, coupon-wise. We buy a lot of buy one get one free meats at the grocery store - that really cuts down costs, and you can stretch the dollars a little further. Albertson's runs those meat sales pretty often. Dollar Tree and $.99 stores have a nice selection of snacks - that are decently cheap, and they have a small selection of grocery items. Watch the circulars ( they're usually in our mailbox) the best deals I get are the $10 for $10 - sometimes I'll have coupons that I can use so I'll end up with 10 items for like $8 - not too shabby.

I bought one of those entertainment books from a school fundraiser and there are coupons in there for groceries - spend $75 and get $5 off at like Kroger and Tom Thumb.

Lots of times, CVS and others will put those coupons for $30 giftcards if you tranfser prescriptions - I know a lot of the grocery store pharmacies honor competitior coupons like that, you just have to surrender the coupon - but if you have rx's that you buy anyway, a $30 giftcard for groceries is a nice bonus.

I know Brookshires and Krogers frequent shopper programs send out coupons in the mail.

Hope this helps out.

Utilize the crock pot for beans, soups, roast, chicken... By utilizing the crock pot, sometimes there's left overs to freeze for later use.

Check out your DVDs, magazines, books, CDs via the public library. Cost savings will be tremendous! And of course return items on time to avoid late fees.

Think about a particular food/beverage item and say to yourself, what nutritional value is this for me. If you say none... then do not purchase the item. Your cost savings will go down from this process. Also, your health will improve!
