Could I Be Pregnant? - Bowling Green,KY

I had protected sex for the first time on the 24th-26th. I am not on any birth control but we did use a condom. Each time only lasted around 10 minutes because my partner could not keep an erection, & he did not ejaculate any of the 3 times we had sex. My last period began around the 9th or 10th of july. My period was due on the 9th of this month & has yet to come. I have had some mild cramping off & on, as well as backaches, headaches & breast tenderness. I realize that the chances of me becoming pregnant could be slim but I am worried that I might be. Any advice would help to ease my mind.

What can I do next?

I suppose the best way to ease your mind would be to take a pregnancy test. Good luck!! Hoping for the best for you!

Your chances are extremely slim. Your period isn't that late. The symptoms that you're having are probably PMS and nerves.

while anything's possible, its highly unlikely you're pregnant. Lots of things can cause your period to be late, one of which is stress. Since you are late a pregnancy test should work now.

you can get all of those symtoms with out being pregnant, but keep in mind a condom is not as effective for some as for others, example since I am in my mid twenties and have ocassional irregular periods my doctor told me that for my partner to wear a condom it is only 70% chance of not getting pregnant compared to the 80% if I was always regular with my period and 95% if I was over thirty.

I've had all of those symptoms and never been pregnant. I suggest it's highly unlikely that you are. Anxiety can increase your awareness of symptoms.

Since he was wearing a condom, could not maintain an erection, and did not ejaculate I think it would be something short of a miracle to get pregnant.

I suggest that you use additional birth control so that you feel more secure. It may also make him feel more secure and help him be more successful. I suggest adding the use of a spermicide to the condom. Perhaps even get fitted for a diaphragm if you'll only be having sex infrequently. I used one for a few years and found it to be easy to use.
