N.P.
I had a friend that was "The Old Lady who swallowed a fly." If you know that song. So she dressed up like an old lady and pinned all the animals to her belly. We thought it was really cute!
This is totally a fun request. I am looking for some good ideas about a costume for me this Halloween. I am 6 months pregnant (with my first!) and have some parties to go to for Halloween. The best I have seen/heard are "Pregnant Nun" and "Bun in the Oven". I bet there are some really fun ideas out there!

I was about 10 months along with my daughter at Halloween. I just wore all black and then made my belly into an "8" ball and carried a pool stick. I actually won a prize at the party we went to because everyone thought it was funny. :-) Very easy and cheap!
A friend of ours went as a skeleton, and her black shirt had her skeleton bones and over her baby bump had baby skeleton bones on it too, so basically she was a pregnant skeleton with her baby... it was quite cute (although describing it sounds terribly morbid).
At 8 months pregnant I was a pregnant cheerleader. You can find cheerleader costumes everywhere. Let your belly hang out and throw in some pig-tails!
Some lady I knew did milking cow when she was pregnant and it was very cute!
I once saw a belly painted intricately like a Dr. Seuss fish bowl. Have fun!
Some of the funnest costumes I have seen for pregnant women is when they paint the belly. Here are a few:
Paint the belly to look like a Jack-O-Lantern
Wear referee clothes, have your belly stick out and paint it to look like a basketball.
Paint your belly to look like a fish bowl
Be a man with a beer gut.
That is all I can think of. Good luck and have fun!
My friend was a snowman for Halloween last year when she was pregnant, complete with carrot nose and top hat. It was really fun and she won her work's costume contest!
Very cute ideas. I was a pumpkin one year when I was 8 months along. I wore a warm orange sweater with a green collared shirt underneath and a green hat. I put those fake plastic candles (Walgreens) underneath the sweater for the eyes and the nose, and a glow stick for the mouth.
Peanut M & M was my favorite. Plain Top, Black Pants, I tie a belt or scarf around my waist below my belly making it more pronounce and then using masking tap put the letter M on your front and back.
Go as Violet Beauregarde, the girl from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory who turns into a blueberry!
I was 7.5 months pregnant with my second for Halloween one year. I wanted something different - I had the pregnant nun, pregnant bride suggestions. I wasn't really interested because I kinda thought those were obvious choices. My husband suggested a belly dancer! I loved the idea. So, I got some harem pants and cropped top and off I went as a belly dancer - to my church.
My mother-in-law was totally freaked out. She told me to go home and change! I got a lot of double takes and a deacon said to me "You're probably the only person I know who could pull that off - actually, you're the only person I know who would TRY!"
Hi, i think it would be fun to be an M&M. I've seen a few for sale, but think it would be easy to make. Pick your color, find some white gloves, throw on some white shoes and your good to go!
Have fun with it!

I am 7 mos pregnant and I'm not sure if I will be dressing up this year, but I searched on google for pregnant costume ideas and they had some REALLY fun ones!! You shoudl go check it out. My favorite was a girl who dressed up like a black cat and then she painted a fish bowl with a goldfish in it on her belly, so it looked like the cat had swallowed the fish - too cute!
Another one I saw frequently was dressing up as some sort of sports-player and painting your belly to look like the "ball". those were really cute too :-)
Last year I was... 6 months pregnant around halloween time too. I was "Under Construction." I wore a construction hat, white tank top, jeans, and yellow "do not enter" tape, and a sign that said under construction...
Have fun!
don't forget the regular costume options either- most work with a preggo belly ;) just be aware that the pregnant nun can be offensive to some- One year my husband was Nacho Libre and I was supposed to be the female counterpart in the movie (while I was pregnant) and I apparently offended some of the sweet ladies that came into our hair salon. go figure- I wasn't even meaning to be a prenant nun- just a nun period. just a heads up.
You can have fun with your belly- like you could put a ripped and bloodied t-shirt on and say your baby's an alien coming out or something ha ha.
When I was pregnant, I went as a bag of jelly beans - large, clear trash bag, cut arm and leg holes and filled it with lots of little colored balloons and tied a "ribbon" around my neck. It was fun!
Well, it totally depends on if you are going for fun, or pretty. A regencey (pride and prejudice) dress would be fun (at least to me) as well as pretty, and would have room for your tag along. I dont know if you have a costume rental place where you are, but most have this type of dress to rent. Good luck, and have fun!

I was an egg when I was in your shoes! A white turtle neck and sewed on a yellow felt circle over the bump! Easy and very cute!
I am a little late on reading my E-Mail, but if you are still wanting ideas....I have one. My daughter got a BIG sized sweatshirt...color is your choice....she used red....and made big white M & M's and put them on her belly! It was very cute. Just another idea!
Last year I put on an orange shirt and did a jack'o'lantern cutout on my belly.
I was 8 months pregnant and very round one Halloween. I wore all black, cut out a circle around my belly and painted it into a jack-o-lantern and used spirit gum to glue a real stem onto the top. It looked awesome! Be sure you use non-toxic cadmium free paint.
Good luck.
Or- you could be a bump in the road.
