Hi,

My son wants to take a cooking class but I can't find any that start under 6 years old. Do any of you know of any places in the Cary area for a soon to be 4 year old? Thanks you :)

What can I do next?

The Parks and Recreation have cooking classes for age 2 and up. My son took them over at Shelly Lake. They may have some closer to you.

Hello J.,

I live near Holly Springs and the Cultural center may has cooking classes. I've seen them for children as young as 2 1/2. So look under town of Holly Springs. Hope this helps.

Hey there J.-love your name by the way-since you have an in- home daycare, how about doing your own "cooking class"? You could go to Party City and get one of those big chef hats, and incorporate a unit study for your whole group. Teach them how to make...PB&J, Ants on a log (celery with PB & raisins), etc... Then after everyone leaves you can teach your son more advanced things-scrambled eggs, making a cake,...Your son will probably receive a lot of enjoyment from being with you.
