I know you didn't ask for at home suggestions. I just wanted to share what I did for my son's chef party. It was one of the most fun parties we've done and one that he and his friends still talk about.

I ordered chef hats and aprons online and got a really good deal. When the kids came in their first stop was decorating their hats and aprons. I had ink stamps available with fun shapes and letters so they could personalize and wear (no drying time like with paint). I ordered the stamps from Oriental Trading and got a great deal and they worked beautifully.

Next stop was their pizza making station. I bought the individual pizza pies from bomboli (sp) and then had sauces, pepperoni, sausage, cheese etc. for them to make their own personal pizza. While that was cooking (very short time) they made fruit k bobs with fruit I had prepared.

After they ate it was cake decorating time. I had previously baked 8" round cakes one for each kiddo. I then purchased icing and colored it several different colors and had those in muffin tins for easy access. I had gummy worms, sprinkles, all kinds of decorating stuff for the cakes and they decorated to their hearts content. Most of them were incredibly over decorated, but hey, that's part of being 7. I purchased boxes from our local bakery for the kiddos to take their cake home and share with their family. It was a ball and the chef hat, apron and cake were their keepsakes. I also did pictures of the kids in a group as well as individually with my son for his thank you note.

It was so much fun and out of all the parties I've done it is the one I have the fondest memories of.

Just wanted to give you another idea.

Blessings!
L.
