*I posted earlier but it didn't postWhat are the chances of conceiving 3 days before period, now i'm late.I alway's conceived my babies the week of ovulation. After that time has passed the chances of becoming pregnant decrease right, chances are slim if I did during this time frame.I know when I ovulate & peirods to begin no more than 2 days late unless pregnant.I know last month was a short month was off 2 days on starting.

What can I do next?

It is completely possible. Not all women ovulate at exactly the same time. We discussed this in a few different classes in college (Biology major). The "normal" ovulation cycle is just an average of what most women experience.

Congratulations if you are pregnant and were hoping to be.

Your human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) levels will be detectable within a few days after conception for detection on a pregnancy test. You should know any day.

I'm not sure if this is helpful at all, but I recall that the nurse who taught my Human Reproduction class in college said that some women experience coitus-induced ovulation, regardless of where they are in their menstrual cycle. I'd say the chances are really low, but I would not worry just yet. Stress and lifestyle changes can cause delays to getting your period.

I guess it is possible, but I wouldn't stress. I was a few days late last month for no apparent reason at all. If you are, congratulations, and if not then whew! :)

Nearly ANYTHING is possible! I conceived 2 of my 4 children within 2 days after my period. One was not even two days........ thought the first one was a fluke, but guess not! Ovulation isn't an exact science, so it could be. I would take a test just to be sure.
