Hello everyone,

I'm seeking an additional job as a certified nurses aid but would like to make at least $14 an hour. Does anyone know of any facilities or agencies? I have experience and I'm in Dallas County but willing to travel to surrounding counties

What can I do next?

Good luck unless you find a job at a hospital they tend to pay a little more. I know here in MA average starting pay is $9-10 but that is a facility, hospitals pay more, and the agencies that I looked into pay depending on where and what you will be doing at the places you go to.

Look into MedAdmin (like Unit Secretary, or Patient Rep)... similar responsibilities, MUCH better pay.

Good Luck, Really I mean that Buffalo starts CNA's out at $11 and that is around the highest. I think that is garbage, CNA's work hard and deserve more.

I worked in a school that offered Medical Assisting programs and we got lots of interest from CNAs. Maybe in a big city like NY you could get that kind of money but here in Jersey 14 dollars would be pretty rare. Call around but don't be surprised if they start you off between 9-12 dollars. Not fair at all. They might offer you other benefits though.
