Hi. My daughter will be turning two soon and i'm looking for great clown with reasonable rates for 15 kids. Anyone have any ideas for the chicago area. I've googled and looked in phonebook but i'd really like something to go on before choosing one. thanks so much!

Hi,

I highly recommend Steve Finnegan (Finnegan's Rainbow of Fun). I don't know if he is still in business (I hired him 3 or 4 years ago, but I kept his card!). He is really, really funny (even for adults) and is great with little ones. He comes without makeup or clothes and turns into a clown with the help of the kids, because sometimes little kids get scared when they see a clown for the first time.

Edited: I just checked online and found out he has a website: finfun03.com

Try MARY MACARONI. I almost used her but ended up doing my daughter's birthday at Gymboree. She's really nice and will do whatever you want.

I've used a clown named Freckles twice and I think she is very good and reasonably priced. She runs the games, paints faces and does balloon animals. Her # is 1-###-###-####. Good luck.

I used Blazing Birthdays for my daughter's second birthday. We did not have a clown, but an Easter Bunny but I was very pleased with the service. I had called several places and faced a bit of sticker shock at the $150-$200 per hour price most places quoted me. Blazing Birthdays was in that range as well, but I did feel that it was worth it in the end. The Bunny made balloon animals, led a conga line (he came with his own boom box and cute music), sang songs and danced in a circle holding hands, posed for photos and passed out the treat bags. It was alot packed into one hour and it gave the adults a chance to eat and talk while the kids were completely entertained. Best of luck!
