Cloth Diapers for Burp Rags

Does anyone know where I can find the really thick cloth diaper inserts? I used them with my other children but they were hand me downs from someone. Unfortunately I gave them all away after my most recent child. Baby number 4 is making his appearance soon and I loved using these for burp rags. The only thing I can seem to find is the Gerber packs at Walmart but they aren't nearly as thick and absorbent. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

target had a premium cloth diaper that seemed really nice.. they were 6 to a pack instead of 12..

I do think they were gerber but they were a better quality diaper.

Get the gerber ones from babies r us, and you can buy them online if you don't have one near you. Be sure to get the ones that say they are thick, I think it's six ply, versus three ply for the thin ones. And also, do not get the organic ones...they are thin and don't wash well.

I know exactly what you mean...I might try babies r us? Or even Kmart? They had the thick ones last year when I was looking...

They do make the best burp rags!

I use the Gerber Birdseye diapers for burprags for my daughter, who was never very spitty, but use the Gerber Tri-fold diapers for the my daycare kids. I've had some real spitters, some with reflux even, and really like the absorbancy of the Tri-folds. Good luck!

Have you considered craigslist or ebay? a diaper service--maybe they'd sell some to you?

Babies R Us has them. You can order on-line if you don't have one near you. And for a lot of their products there are customer ratings on-line when you click on the item so you can see what other people that bought them thought of the quality etc.

I think I may have got mine from Target but could also be BB R US? I do think they were Gerber and they were thick! I did sell all of mine on Ebay though. So there may be someone selling them.

You can find high quality tri fold cloth diapers at greenmountaindiapers.com These are the thick kind that are used for cloth diapering. You can buy them by the dozen or individually. I have been cloth diapering my daughter with these for 16 months and they are showing no signs of wear. They are fantastic so they would more than meet your needs for a burp cloth but you do have to prep them correctly for them to be absorbent. And Karen at green mountain gives you all the info you need to prep them!

The ones I used I ordered online at Doodle's Diapers (don't have the exact site, but you can google it). They were inexpensive and came in packages of a dozen.
