Anyone tried these cloth diapers? We are trying them out this weekend. I just wanted to see what experiences anyone has had with them.

What can I do next?

I used cloth diapers for my first two sons - and I really like Fuzzibunz and Swaddlebees. I also like DSQ prefolds with Bummis Super Whisper Wraps if you're on a budget. I'm too tired and lazy to cloth diaper anymore, LOL.

I got mine at babiesbottomsandmore.com. The store is in Farmer's Branch. I have the Chinese prefolds with Thirsties wraps and I also use snappis instead of pins. They do smell more than disposables and are quite a bit of work, but worth it if you want to save money not to mention the environment.

I've been using the pocket cloth diapers for over a year and love love love them. We almost never have problems with leaks and when we do it's cuz we were lazy about changing him.
I use several different brands and find I like some better then other because of the fit but they all work great.
Message me if you have any questions at all. I love talking cloth diapers.

LOVE my cloth diapers! There is a local service called Green Baby Diaper Service. They do diaper service for prefolds. I used that for about 4 weeks and then ended up purchasing some fitteds through them. I bought the premium fleece fitted diapers and use Thirsty's covers. My daughter was leaking through everything and she NEVER leaks with these diapers. She can go 8 hours at night in one with no problem!

Hi J.,
Well I have a now 2 year old son that I started using cloth with about 8 months ago. I used a brand called Swaddle Bees and also used the old fashion Gerber folding ones with a nylon pull over on top of it. I didn't like the cloth diapers that both had a pocket in it for an insert or the all in ones. I had a bugger of a time with them 'wicking' onto his clothes at night or during the day. I really liked the old folding/pinning kind with a nylon cover. If your uncomfortable with the pins they make a handy little things called 'Snappi's'. Never really had a leak problem with the fold type. I would use an insert from the other diapers for the night time. I would also stay away from the plastic type and use only nylon, they are much stronger and won't rip. The only downside is that he seemed to smell of urine. Not that the diapers reeked of it before I put them on, they just 'smell' more than the disposables. Probably a boy thing! I confess that I use more disposables now. He only uses a few a day now. But if I ever have another baby I would most definitely do cloth from the beginning when they are going through them like crazy.
