I'm planning a Clone Wars birthday party for my 6 yr old for this weekend, and I found a few activity ideas online, but didn't really LOVE them. Can you give me some ideas for easy to prepare party games for 10-15 6 yr olds?

What can I do next?

My friend just had one for her son, at the Natatorium. She got a bunch of those long pool noodle things, cut them in half, and then added duct tape and some black marker and made a bunch of colorful, cool lightsabers. The kids (and parents) loved them! (and they could take them into the pool with them). I think it's a great, affordable idea (she found the idea online) if you've got alot of space for the kids to wave those things around.

A friend of mine had one of these parties for her six year old and her husband conducted a "Jedi Training Academy". He went over all the rules and what it means to be a good Jedi. That way it cut down on sporadic light saber fights. Maybe you could add an obstacle course as a part of their "training" since six year old boys have a TON of energy.

We are having a Star Wars birthday party this weekend for my 6 (soon to be 7) year old. We are hired Darth Vader to make an appearance. We did our invites like a meeting of the Jedi Counsel and Darth Vader is going make a surprise appearance and have a duel with the birthday boy. I included the info below.

You can go to Target, Walmart, Party City of Party America, and find heavily discounted Star Wars costumes. You could buy them and have the girls change into them and them play a game. We do this with super hero costumes b/c my boys play 'dress up' through out the year. Good luck. I'm having a party this weekend too.

I like the games the kids gan play out doors like red rover, and you could make up an obstical course it sort of give it an action feel to play games... you could play capture the flag... devide up into to teams and have one flag for each team... the teams have to try to capture the flag with out being captured themselves or have and they have to protect their own flag...

Fun... you could use a princess doll to be princess Lea instead of a flad and theam it up that way...

boys LOVE that type of games...

Call a few stores to see about getting boxes. Then get
colored duct tapes. Make your own droids. *roger roger*
*edit*
Pin the arm on the droid. Have a good drawer *which is most
people over me* draw a droid with the missing body part.
Nerf guns, fire at targets *hey they are more fun when they
don't fire back.* Put a number in spots and the highest score
gets a prize. May take time, with only one nerf gun, yet would
be fun.

I don't really have any ideas about the birthday party. But I just wanted to tell you that it is good to know that I am so much like you it is good to know that I am not the only one who can't stand to be at home all the time.

The things that dont sound that great to you are probally the games the kids will like the most.
Try the classics like musical chairs and relay races etc.

My son just had a Clone Wars party. We have a centerpiece and some masks. Do you want them?
