Does anyone have any experience with the Clearwater Children's Learning Center, which is a Kindercare? I am looking at sending my 3 month old son there but haven't seen any reviews and would like to know if anyone has been there. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I dont have any personal experience with them, but I havn't really heard good things. My little girl started daycare when she was 3 months as well, but I thought a home daycare would be move loving and she would get the attention she needs. The lady lives in Clearwater and has over 20 years experience if you are looking. She was truly amazing with her children. Good luck..its a hard and scary process. If you find the right place though, something will click and you will know it.

Wow - sounds like the previous poster had a really bad experience with Kindercare. I have a totally different experience at that center - my son was there for about 3 months. They had an incident there a couple year ago where a teacher broke and infants leg. The was fired and the director left and they changed their name. Both the new director (Melissa) and assistant director (Karen) are fantastic. The primary teacher in my son's room (Michelle) is the most wonderful and caring woman - my son loved her and she really seemed to care about him. She cried when we moved him (to be at a center on-site at my office). All the staff was always kind, happy, and completely organized. They don't have a curriculum in the infant room - but love the heck out of the babies and play with them. I walked in one day and found Michelle on the floor with the babies crawling and rolling all over and around her. It was so wonderful to see. I recommend asking if you can get into her room if she's still there. I liked it so much that I recommended it to my neighbor and her soon-to-be second child is going to enroll there. The two drawbacks I can think of are that not all the teachers have college degrees and it's expensive. Good luck and feel free to contact me if you want more information!

PS - My son was there from July 07 through October 07. I also have another co-worker who had her kids there and she loves it too.

Yikes!!! I would never recommend any Kindercare. My oldest tried the one off of East Bay and the teacher squeezed my daughters leg so tight when she was 4 if left a bruise. I called the police. The babies were to little to talk so the lady continued to work there.
We tried the Kindercare 10 years later for my youngest. This is the one off of Main St in Dunedin. This is when she was 8 weeks old. Needless to say she was there 3 days. The place was so unorganized and the staff was very un friendly. To this day I don't know who was with my baby those days.
Good luck. It sure is hard to find good care.
