I use Rosie from English Maids. ###-###-####. They have several suburban locations. Rosie works for the one in my prospect and she is great and dependable. She charges $57 for my 3 bedroom 3.5 bath townhouse.
I have tried a couple of cleaning ladies and they have all been ok but not great. I am looking for a quality cleaning servie. Any suggestions? Who do you use and how much do they charge?

We've used Maid Brigade for 6 years now and LOVE them. We've tried a few others and nobody even came close to cleaning as well as they do. We pay $110 per cleaning for 2 cleanings a month. Our home is about 2500 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 bath. Good luck.
Added: For the first 4 years that we used Maid Brigade, we lived in a 2000 square foot townhouse/3 bed/2.5 bath and paid $90 when we started. At the end of the 4 years, it had gone up once in price to $94. When we moved to our single family home 2 years ago, we started paying $110 and it has not increased.
I used English Maids at ###-###-#### - Mt. Prospect. They charge $60 for 3 hours - don't know the charge for 4 hours. I have used them several times and would highly recommend them.
I've tried a bunch of them, including several on the 'local businessees' section of mamapedia (which I'll never do again!) and have not had good success. I would totally use someone like Maid Brigade, but if Christina was to engage with them today she would be paying more like $150 for the same size house, I wonder if the price has gone up for her over the years. I also tried English Maids, not a good experience either (but maybe it depends on who you get) :( I've tried Castle Maids, Natures Essence (that was a total disaster!), and several individuals all only to be disappointed by the quality of their work or their unreasonable policies or disrespectful attitude towards me). I have a woman now that several friends in the neighborhood have used, she doesn't do a great job but I have resigned myself to the fact that you truly get what you pay for and she is the cheapest ($80 for a 2300 sf home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a dog). So while I am rarely 100% satisfied with her work, I decided to just pick up the slack myself rather than pay someone $110 and still not be fully satisfied (which has happened, but my husband says I can often have unrealistic expectations??). I guess I go with the old addage; you just can't get good help these days!
